AqualinaXYZ:
99.9% of that money meant for this purchase is from South South oil

Zero from South West

Wike you won’t die well for supporting a thief that’s milking us dry

That’s why when they’re commenting you’ll hear them say “GOD BLESS SS&SW

Gumbody by force

You dey add SW leaving southeast that we share almost same culture together all because of our oil

I keep telling my brothers that when we don’t have no more oil to dish out the treatment these people will give us will be worse than what they’re giving SE

The only SS state they share something in common is Edo state yet Edo deh show them werey steady. Same Edo that chased Tinubu out during campaign telling him Edo no be Lagos
i am from edo state, awo, uromi.
I can categorically tell you that we have no single problem with our yoruba brothers, i can also tell you for a fact that my town uromi has the highest number of igbos in edo state. believe every region has enough manpower to speak for themselves.

Edo no be lagos slogan was coined by the cunny obaseki govt though he succeeded as the electoral purpose it was coined for worked but today dude ended up as the worse governor we ever had.

About oil, every region contribute one way or the other to the economy, even lagos as a state produces more crude oil than my edo state, not to talk of ondo.

The major problem we have in Niger delta are our governors, what are our governors doing with whatever gets to them, how about the extra ministry and agencies in the region, wetin dem dey do?

There's a town here in edo state called ebelle, currently the whole ebelle town is tarred, i mean every roads in the town is tarred, every major streets tarred up till farm roads.
Guess, this whole project was done by a private individual, a woman that married from the town, i heard she did the project with her gratuity.
My point is, if a private individual can do such a thing what then is the excuse of our local govt chairmen, commissioners and govs?

Jonathan was presido for 6 years, apart from the not so favorable appointments what did we as south southerners gain from Jonathan?

Go back to the story, it's not a used plane. If not for one thing, one thing, the owner never ready to sell am o. So, probably more like new one. Except the birthdate proves otherwise.
It is used.

This is ridiculous.

1) there is no reason to sell the BBJ. It is only 19 years old. That is nothing for a Boeing 737. Trump’s 757 for example is 33yrs old.
2) if it is the same plane below then it is a a 15 year old plane even though it was only delivered in 2014 and has low time.

It makes no sense!

Tinubu has defied a tradition and philosophy of "Leader of a group is really a servant of the group". Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop tradition. Masses are to be patient and suffer for the economic quagmires his actions and inactions have brought upon us but anything about his comfort is expressly processed and considered.

You're just a comedian! Mention any develop country that is currenting facing economy challenges and their President is not earning a dime
lexy2014:
The place you mentioned, are their presidents asking them to sacrifice that there is no money to improve the lives of the citizens?

If Tinubu is asking Nigerians to sacrifice, why can't he sacrifice by paying his own bills after all is he not collecting salary?

Off point. That is not what I asked you.

1. The place you mentioned, are their presidents asking them to sacrifice that there is no money to improve the lives of the citizens?

2. If Tinubu is asking Nigerians to sacrifice, why can't he sacrifice by paying his own bills after all is he not collecting salary?

When asked why lawmakers are pushing for new aircraft for the nation’s top leaders but uninterested in calling on the government to pay workers a decent minimum wage, the Senator said, “The recommendations they (House Committee) made are related to those matters. The safety of our leaders and the health of the presidential air fleet are matters of national security concern. Raising those matters does not mean the committee members do not care about the issue of minimum wage, which is already being well handled by government and organised labour.”

A senior aide to Mr Tinubu told PREMIUM TIMES Thursday night that the government could not heed the National Assembly’s call to purchase two new aircraft.

He said, “The best the government can do is to go for one at the moment, and it is gladdening that we are getting a good second-hand aircraft at a good price.”

The Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) spokesperson, Zakari Minjiyawa, declined to comment on Thursday when asked about the status of the presidential jet transaction. He said the Presidential Air Fleet, domiciled in ONSA, had yet to brief him on any development on the matter.

To avoid any air mishaps that would take the lives of the Nigerian President and his Vice-President while on important International flights, it's better to get that reposesed Airbus A330 ASAP with careful negotiations.

They could go for a smaller pre-owned but newer aircraft for the Vice-President of Nigerian since that would also be cheaper than buying a new aircraft.
