Sometimes I think Nollywood is, except in some rare cases, all hype and no substance. It seems to cater exclusively to a low expectations constituency enamored with pictures, lighting, a sprinkling of beautiful girls and young men with beards. There are hardly any serious stories while the acting is awful for the most part.
