francophone134:Have you gone to the employment agencies around to drop your resume? Have you considered UPS? They are always hiring Have you considered driving for Uber, ubereats or skip? Have you considered going to any local Amazon fulfillment center to ask for availability? Have you exhausted all opportunities at customer service work? Including the ones you can do as a freelancer? |

I would like to invite my family for my graduation. Anyone has idea how to go about it? |
| Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by ednut1(m): 3:35pm On Jul 02, 2024 |
Yekebu:by applying for a visit visa. If they dont have sufficient travel history , strong home ties or hold visas of other better countries they will likely bounce the application. |

francophone134:Have you had any interviews? if you are applying and no one is reaching out then you need to take a closer look at your resume. Sometimes people suggest you dumb down your resume so you don't appear over qualified. I have a friend who did an interview when he came to Canada and the recruiter said "I will be doing you a disservice to employ you because you are overqualified.........". Have you tried going through recruitment agencies? they have access to jobs that are sometimes not listed. Also try applying outside your territory or province, you may be able to get something. |

steroid:The applicant is an international student iand currently the job situation in canada is terrible and it important for student to come prepare with living expenses as getting job to finance education in canada is nearly impossible with 20 hours rules and looking for job outside is province as a student is not an easy process, l will advice he start looking for loan option to finance his education while still searching job . I wish him all the best! |
