The only thing that exists for him are his own feelings. He plays his own mommy, and guards himself from facts, because it hurts him physically. The truth hurts him physically because his little vulnerable ego can't handle it. He's not able to admit even the slightest mistake, he's not capable of even minimal accountability. He has to whisper to himself all the time that he is perfect, otherwise his own monstrosity just eats him from inside. These people have zero self-awareness and are extremely dangerous.
