Nigerians Leave DSTV Alone by Melagros(op):
COMRADES, let's call a spade a spade

Tinubu/ FG increased the price of petroleum by 200%, without revamping the sector, nobody dared to sue him for that reckless and hasty decision

NEPA/Adelabu increased the electricity tarrif by 200%, we remained mute

OMO/(detergent powder) the price was also hiked by 100%, nobody took P&G, Unilever, PZ etc to court

Nigerian staple foods such as garri, beans, rice, maize, millet, yam, potatoes etc. Their prices were updated up to over 100%, did we have the audacity to sue the transporters or the middle men for this? The answer is NO!

Even the prices we were paying for the Internet subscription had been updated in line with the current inflation

If we couldn't sue any of the aforementioned for price hike, then why do we singlehandedly sue DSTV/ multichoice for price increment? Do we want the company out of Nigeria just like we did to other companies?

This is my candid opinion and it is nothing but the truth. Whatever anybody wants to say, you're entitled to your opinion, BUT remember 'the truth is bitter' and also only the truth can set you free!

DStv is not a necessity. You can always cancel your subscription. It's like you subscribing to starlink then complain when Elon Musk increases prices, or complaining that you can't buy an Acura when there is Honda or Kia.

Summary: cut your coat according to your cloth.
