To foster the false narrative of progress, news is circulated which is portrayed as unprecedented positive developments but which are in fact a replay of the past: Here is an article from 2017 LAGOS, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Nigeria's central bank has sold $660 million in three- and five- month currency forwards at an auction aimed at clearing a backlog of dollar demand, traders said on Wednesday.https://www.reuters.com/article/world/africa/nigeria-sells-660-mln-forwards-to-clear-backlog-of-dollar-demand-traders-idUSL5N1FM3B8/ Here is another from 2018: The International Air Transport Association on Tuesday announced that Nigeria had cleared the backlog of $600m trapped funds belonging to foreign airlines operating in the country.https://stocksng.com/nigeria-clears-foreign-airlines-600m-trapped-funds/ In summary, Nigeria is always clearing FX backlogs and will continue doing so if the naira/inflation problem is not arrested. |

IAmHim1:I call the actual system massive brainwashing. Even if you outline the fact to educated people in Nigeria, I mean by those that have passed through the 6-3-3-4 system, they will assume you have gone mad. That not withstanding, I will still do what works for me irrespective of popular opinions. |

helinues:Tinubu engaged some sound minds to handle portfolios for him, that why he has been able to gain some little stability in some economic quarters. He is quite a responsive leader too. Not disciplined enough thou. Obasanjo is the best Nigerian president I have seen in recent times. I rate Tinubu above Jonathan, coz Jonathan is very loose and does not have a firm grip on anything. He was just lucky to rule after a point when Obasanjo had gathered a lot of wealth and stability for the nation. Buhari is worst of all. He has bad luck on his head and surrounds himself with very clueless entities. His policies have almost returned Nigeria back to stone age. |

IAmHim1:The amount of real cash being hold in a bank does not equivalent to the amount of cash in everyone's account in a bank. If everyone decided to enter bank to collect their real cash in a day, do you think the bank will be able to give out the cash to customers? |

Buhari really did bad with the Nigeria air scam nonsense. All the useless criminals involved in that Nigeria air scam nonsense need to be jailed! In fact, Nigeria need to be restructured and return back to Regionalism. |
