ZIAZI:
I don't speak on these issues as a layman but a lawyer even though litigation is not my forte.
The Appeal Court just decided on an issue that goes to the root of the suit at the FHC.

Mind you, Justice Omotosho's ruling (FHC) on the same issue which recognised Amawhule's group was subsisting until a court (SHC) without jurisdiction did abracadabra. I laughed when I saw that.
I was under the impression that the appeal was discussing the meat of the matter only to decide on JURISDICTION by a lower court.
As a lawyer, is this case over? 😂 Becsuse for me, even as a layman ifs obvious the natter hasn't ended.

Pro Wike 27 sacked Rivers lawmakers remains sacked, their seat remains vacant as Appeal court didn't decide on the validity of their illegal decampment nor the declaration of their seat vacant. The Appeal Court focused on declaring that the Federal High Court is the only court with Jurisdiction to decide on the legality or illegality of decampment thereby ruling against Rivers High Court proceedings.
The legal fire works continues.

The former Speaker edison ehi led House votes and proceedings that declared the seats of the 27 lawmakers vacant is still valid and subject of pending litigation and the vacant seats of the 27 lawmakers remains vacant and the actions of the House led by Ehi in declaring the seat vacant have not been declared null and void by any court.
The local govt Chairmen whose tenure have since expired remains expired and can't be extended and was never extended.

Jurisdiction is the koko!

There is a similar matter at the FHC and an order emanating from that court per Justice Omotosho. The order holds that Martins Amaewhule remains speaker. This order has not been vacated nah!😂😂

We are talking jurisdiction so why are you bringing evidence when it's obvious the main issue of defection hasn't been heard by any Court.
Omotosho gave an injunction against their seats being declared vacant right? So fubara still has to prove their defection in court.
Yes, you're right. But until then, guess who the speaker is? Hon. Martin Amaewhule, DSSRS.😂😂😂
Jurisdiction is the most important matter in a suit.

But ask yourself something. Who dey advise Gov. Sim abeg? He needs to fire his lawyers. All of them including the AG.

My brother.. there is a long game. He deliberately took the matter to the SHC to buy time. For what ?? 😂
Leave am, politics is deep! The LG chairmen are gone! Let's watch the game going forward.

Congrats to Amaewhule and Co. Let them go ahead and sit.

I doubt the likelihood of the LG Chairmen returning, but nothing is impossible in politics. However, the recently appointed CTC Chairmen and Commissioners would be running back to their back to their mothers' kitchen should Amaewhule do the needful.

Wallahi! Politics na dirty game. These guys dined together less than 1 year ago. Or was it not Nwanosike and Edison Ehie that blocked INEC office at Aba Road because of Tonye Cole of APC?
