the most painful part is when your A+ set up that you have been stalking for days hit stop loss..

the anger of waiting for days for the set up to properly form and having that same set up hit stop loss at the end of the day will make you throw all caution away and revenge trade to get back at the market..

On an another discipline is very crucial, like me I don't trade exotic instrument during new York session pairs like gold am better off trading them during London session cause they always maintain a trend even though it my go to your BE but it will surely continue in that trend.

Only thing I can trade during NY session is nasdaq, so everything is 50/50, 50% phycology 50% edge or technicals.

I used to think so too, not until recently I observed our brain makes it so easy to shut out those times the decisions we made on trades favours us, but will always remember the ones that didn't.

I remember when I was backtesting sometime last year, my brain paid more attention to the losses than to the wins. That's why we jump from strategy to the other. Few losses is all it takes to forget all the winnings the strategy gave over time.

This week, I missed two winning trades entries, but the ones I entered, na them go straight to SL. EU didn't fill me in this afternoon by just 0.4pip and it went straight to TP too. But it is what it is. We hardly remember days we made the right decisions, but those bad ones will always echo at the back of our mind, abi front of our mind sef.

Everybody go dey alright las las.

.. I think this happens when you trade only one pair.. I used to trade just one but later realized it doesn't make sense. The long waiting when you can trade other pairs while waiting

But it does reduce the risk compare to trading multiple pair... I read someone talk abt his trading strategies that works for only one pair (didn't state it out).. but he's win to lose ratio is over 80%.. if a strategies works on just one pair, just go with.. rather than testing ur strategies with other pair

It is better to use deriv if you are a synthetic trader, there have been too many complaints about kwakol since late last year.
