The only way for Nigeria to grow is to start embarrassing our leaders for "commissioning" what mere primary health care centers everywhere else in the world take for granted.

How do you know things work in other countries? You walk into a hospital and everything you need is there—no noise, no "commissioning", nothing. Do you know how much it costs to commission that machine? It's probably enough to have gotten a CT scanner.

It's 2024 and there's still all this drama over an outdated mammogram. What happened to nuclear technology like PET scans?

That one machine can go a long way in causing cancer and the death of many. The US has a whole lot of better machines and treatments but yet ... they have a very occurrence of breast cancer. Clowns following blindly with their colonial mentality. Why can't we promote our cheap and easily available natural treatment?

Mammogram that even private hospitals have is what a whole state government is commissioning with pride. Why are we like this in Nigeria. I was hoping to see a lot of the machines and not just one. Echo lab and other labs and scans center have these machines na.

Nigeria is a country where transistor radios and pako bridges are commissioned. And the money that goes into the commissioning proper is even more than the project.

Not an Hospital o, just this!

They claim not to have time, but create time to celebrate one machine (not a facility), borehole (not integrated water scheme), 2 km road (not a subway network).

Yesterday my first lady carry convoy cover road to go commission a bungalow built for a widow. Not housing estate for widows, just one bungalow. And they post these things online.

If I meet a foreigner, I dey always fear if they know all these low performance, high celebration style of our leaders. Shame dey catch me.

My guy I tire ooo. Just 1 machine that some private hospitals can boast of better technologies.

Not to mention stupid road projects. They waste money and time commissioning things that are beyond basic. Life has moved on.
