Anioma is the only new state that makes sense for the South East.

The so called Etiti state is a waste of time. All Igbos should support the creation of Anioma state as an additional state to SE region.

With Anioma, we will increase our land mass. "Etiti"state is just slicing what already have into still more smaller pieces. It adds nothing.

Let's all back the creation of Anioma state.

Why did the monarchs not mentioned which region the proposed anioma state should be. That is the bone of contention by the delta north indigene. Nobody is against ANIOMA becomes a state. The monarchs were so clever to be careful but someone like you now is been emotional just like others. Let them call the region they also want it to be, since they represent their various communities. It will quench the argument.

First of, I am NOT igbo. I am a Fulani from Kwara State, Moro LGA to be precise. However, I just feel that SE is the smallest region in Nigeria and further dividing them would not make sense. Since Anioma people are culturally igbo according to some people, why not rejoin them with their kith and kin in SE rather than subdividing the region? With respect to Asaba, the new capital of Delta can be taken to Warri or Ughelli, whichever the people want.

Ultimately, our opinion is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. A potential wayout could be a referendum. Let the people (including political class) do what they think best.

But you are a Mr Nobody with your Anioma State choice. Because learned Igbos know that an Anioma as sixth state for the southeast is a reduction of political representation for Nd'Igbo in the central govt of Nigeria. If you think of Anioma coming to the southeast to help you fight 2nd Biafra war, you are not a good strategist.

I took KPMG and EY tests, I passed that of EY. I was searching through NL for helpful information about the next stage when I came across your post.

Igbo leaders settled for Etiti state during confab of 2014 so Orlu state is not even been considered and won't be supported by majority of ndi Igbo.It is either Etiti state or Anioma state.

Talk of creating Anioma state for the SE is used to deceive only the southeast people of no Lefelendum no Biafla who say they want to rejoin with their Anioma brothers, as if the Aniomas are a lost people. They think war will be fought again for Biafra.

Major kaduna nzeogwu, Colonel Achuzie (one of the greatest heroes of the biafran war) is also from anioma. Saying anioma is SS & used to deceive SE is akin to living in buffoonery
