I was coming from v.i going to mainland. We spent 3 hrs 20mins before we got to shoprite. Didn't switch off for one minute.
Rider was even tired. He was frustrated.
A lot cars were overheating that night. I didn't spot one Corrolla that broke down.
Toyota is a damn good car.
The challenge is forex and the ailing economy.
If a typical worker earns 1m / month. He/she should be able to buy a good car.

Most gear specialist na bullshit. Why is he giving a guarantee of 6 months ,if he's sure of his stuff.
Better don't throwaway money. After 2 months, if there's any issue, he won't refund your money. Don't be surprised, he will ask you to pay for more items to be used to further repair the gear.


120k ,thats like 25-30% of the cost of a tokunbo gear

If your car is still engaging and driving fine throughout the day after the early morning problem then let it be. Just start saving to buy another gear in the future. U can still use the car like that for the next 2 years or more provided u make sure ur oil is properly guaged.
Any opening of that gear now is a definite 50/50 and even the 50% good, I give u just few months and u are in the market for another gear.

The only reason u should try working on ur gear is if it is not moving again at all and a technician has given u up to 3 months guarantee, then it is worth the trial.

this is over hyping corolla I haven't seen that condition that my car won't survive........I don enter water wey almost cover my Bonnet inside agungi and one day that is was raining at Tom ogboi along freedom way so forget it .....that Tom ogboi own self Na 2 Camry stop inside the water and one SUV........my car has make me to believe that there is no other kind of ruggedness you need in a car ...was it the day I was travelling that my gear seat brake while speeding, heard the sound and slow down but I press the motor and nothing do am Naso I continue to press am dey go not knowing that the gear oil don dey drip down in short sha all my oil was completely drained from my car and I didn't know Na when the car refuse to enter gear again that I found out ...after all that Na just fixing the gear seat and put another oil and the car was back to normal.. and for the fact that I don put almost 100k miles on the car and I have not open the engine or gear for once abeg give it to Honda jare

Ikota GRA inside, Ilasan police station road, Baale inside Igboefon, Baale inside Orchid road, the inside road between Chisco and ilasan new road, Mopo-Ogombo road, kunsela,
When I learnt this, during raining times like this I don't pass Lekki Phase 1.
Even in phase 1, The Rock Drive, and Itedo estate are no go areas.

I can only imagine how the roads after ajah look like. All those bogije, eputu, lakowe, Ibeju...Govt never they reason those people for there. I hardly go there during dry season sef.

Wetin be 100k miles? That's child's play. One of my Corolla Odometer has stopped reading and I haven't opened the engine. If u know the figure that Corolla odometer ceases to count again u will understand what I am saying. And d engine is still working with factory iron top cylinder gasket.

They used to be time Badore, Thomas estate and Shoprite at Sangotedo used to be my daily route. I can’t even remember how those places look like. I’ve missed Badore so bad. Always feel like luck once I eventually get trip to phase 1 from there.

This is not fair and this is not even water to start with. Anyone can go on randomly to snap a faulty car, be it any brand. Obviously Toyota do breakdown on the road as well.

NB : if I have the option of a brand new Corolla or Honda, I’ll go for Corolla. I only won’t you my money to buy foreign or naija used, because it is overpriced. Investment wise? Is a no no for me.
