Why can't some Yorubas take responsibility? Awolowo had the opportunity of pulling his people out of Nigeria when Biafra seceded but what did he do? Join the Hausa-Fulanis to fight to bring Igbos back when he should be leaving with his people.

Yorubas have allowed too much nonsense, including marginalization of Yorubas right inside Yorubaland.. We must correct the mistakes of the past regardless of what others feel or think.
UK was mentioned, the poster rushed to mention Lagos. She for allow Yorubas float Yoruba party in Anambra first before making such comparison.

Igbo people should learn from this man and form their own party in the UK. Sadly, they chose to insult his moves. However, when the man starts gaining seats at parliament and starts charging the UK to recognize Yoruba Nation, that is when Igbo people will wake up and start demanding the same even when it's too late for them.

That's exactly how they insulted the APC and refused to join the party when Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba formed it in 2015. After Fulani finished their presidency, Igbo people then woke up and started singing that the presidency should be giving to them, even though they contributed nothing to the ruling party. That is part of their hatred for anything Yoruba today because the Yoruba people who worked for the APC naturally succeeded the Fulani in power.

Lagos was part of the Southwest region that Awolowo and Akintola governed. Only a tiny part of Lagos, the old FCT, was not part of the old Southwest. The far larger part of Lagos was an integral part of the defunct Western region. Please, go and read about this.

Lagos is wholly Yoruba; no Emeka or Chinedu can ever change that! What you need to understand is that the Igbo have always been senselessly obsessed with Lagos; it did not just start today. A certain Mr. Nnamdi Azikiwe preferred to be the Premier of the old Western region, which Lagos was part of, instead of his own native old Eastern region! Does that make any sense to you, an Igbo man wanting to be a governor in Yoruba land?!
