Another problem is that we all want some 30GW power station to be built.
We can 10, 20, 40, 50, 100, 200 MW in very local government. With that we can achieve constant electricity
Building the big ones are very expensive

When people talk about electricity as an engineer ( mechanical) I wonder what is difficult about generation and transmission of electricity ooh I have always wandered

To produce electricity you need a magnet and coil of wire... Just move one relative to the other boom u have electricity

The whole nuclear, hydro, gas, steam, coal and the likes are just how to turn the magnet relative to wire coils

Transmission is just aluminum wires ( the most abundant metal on earth) from power plant to distribution centers and those are just big transforms



I still don't get why we don't produce and distribute enough electricity makes little or no sense sha

BAT and APC are a very clueless people. Even my great grand mother in the village knows that it is shameful for Nigeria to generate less than 5000 MW of electricity, ofcourse it is not news, and what is also not news is BAT and APC never gave a road map as to how inadequate electricity/power will be improved when campaigning, so i won't question why it remains so. All of us MUST enjoy the less than 5000 MW and do load shedding where necessary. We MUST "enjoy" this govt together. By the time BAT and APC is through with Nigeria, we won't recognise it. 😆

Sorry, b4 I forget, somebody help me tell Mr President that der is a difference btw Power generation and power transnsmission. You can generate 20,000 MW of power, yet it will be useless if you can't transmit. Please remind him too that our transmission lines are as bad as our generation. Thank you

Nigeria is a jungle my brother. Don't put your hope in this country o. Everything is like rocket science to those that are ruling. They will spend years upon years ruling with nothing to show for it. It still baffles me that till date, Nigeria can't boast of stable power supply. And someone will tell me Nigeria will be great.

You want to rent a house, one will be looking up and down for area that manage to have 6hrs power supply per day. You will see a fine house, but no stable light in the area and bad roads.

I will continue to say it, Nigeria will never be great in this generation. Nigeria is too corrupt to be great. Until they take out all those corrupt leaders that are sabotaging the country, the country will never witness massive improvements and development in stable power supply.

Tinubu seems like he doesn't know that he is here to solve problems not reminding us of the abundant problems we already know they exist

He has no initiative of his own and that's why he tasking his employees to help him provide solutions
