What is wrong with these people and godfatherism?

Why must an outgoing Governor have successor handpicked by himself and not by the people of the state he wants to govern?

If this should be the norm, what then is the need for democracy?


Is it not better we return back to autocracy or monarchy whereby some kingmakers select the king instead of deceiving ourselves that we are practicing democracy of godfatherism

Fubara should be allowed to govern Rivers State as he deems fit. Enough of godfatherism in Nigerian politics.
