Thank you so much for these comprehensive responses. God bless you.

Let's say I want to buy up to 100 plots,

1. What is the best way to take possession of the land? By first fencing the land ASAP. then either working on it OR if not ready to work, plant cassava there BUT you must FENCE it.

2. Can I get up to such a number of plots in Ado-Odo-Ota? If not, like how many plots do you think I should start thinking? You should be able to, though would be inside. Forget getting such quantity close to main road except out of sheer luck

3. How does Adron source for their land everywhere? Perhaps if I know the template of how these estate builders go about land acquisition, I can follow it too. Well those ones are more like PoliTicians. MeanWhile, I am not in that industry so can't tell for sure BUT can say for a fact, they've got very deep pockets, and have numerous quality contacts.

4. How do I get land very close to the main road so I don't go inside. I always avoid it. You need have very very deep pockets, then make your request, and be ready to really do your due dilligence which is a MUST here because for such, it's easier getting Swindled here. Getting land very close to express or major road no be moimoi. To even get land wey be cornerPiece for good street sef no cheap. Left to me, would suggest you forget it, enter inside BUT try to avoid over inside BUT for the quantity you seem to be looking for, would be somewhat difficult getting such closer to major roads.

My plan is to build workers' quarters and a personal apartment there. Also hostels for volunteers and farmers who come for training. I actually intend to rent out some of the spaces per planting session. I think many farmers will show interest in renting soil with life. This is my speciality now. I put life in soil. Me would say start small and grow. All these plans might seem feasible in theory but practically might fail. Most farmers understands how to cut costs. Cassava farm wey you go spend 1-Million naira cultivate, most wouldn't spend up to 500,000 naira to achieve same or even better.

But I don't have time to cultivate and supervise large expanse of land because I have a very busy schedule. So, renting it out is the option I am considering. And then buy the produce at farm gate price. To best of ma knowledge, investing funds, when you don't have at least 80% time to run or monitor things speels doom. People no dey thief to remain for owner Ooo.

It will take like 2 years after land acquisition to achieve this because I have to work on the land first. So, how do I secure such land while I work on the soil? All buildings will start 2 years after the soil is OK. Can I still secure all the plots? You MUST FENCE it. Secondly you could go the extra mile getting the necessary papers such as CofO or Governors consent.

Don't worry about start small ....grow big. Land acquisition is the main area I need help cos it has been something I have had a lot of headache on. I almost purchased very big land 5 years ago, but thank God I didn't do it. I cannot imagine travelling beyond the Lagos-Ogun border in this terrible time in Nigeria. I cannot go beyond that limit. My journey is from Muritala Muhammed Airport to the Lagos-Ogun border. Shikena. I don't want to go beyond that.

By the way, I will so much love the railway to pass through the area. That railway can easily take one to Lekki Airport in the future. It can be used to take one closer to Muritala Muhammed, too.

Great Information Bassdow. epainos, I'm not an agent but someone in a farming group I know advertised their 11 plots around Agbara 2 weeks ago. Wants to relocate to join the children. If you are interested contact me and I will link you up. You would have to do your own due diligence. Cheers.
I've sent you a mail.

I am looking to buy about 5 acres (more or less) in Lagos or in Ogun, but somewhere close to Lagos where housing estates and development will take no more than 10 years. The real plan is to use the land to build residential flat blocks surrounded by nature. However, for the first two to five years, the land will be used for agriculture, while the real estate development plan is being planned.

Please recommend areas I can use and provide me with potential offers (prices).
I sent you an email sir.

It's fine. I can run the contact for you if you really want to pursue the course by July. You should also know that people with your kind of projects have been flooding to Oyo state too. Almost all the roads along the major express road. Just an hour from Ojoo are being sold daily
Insightful.

I have received so many notifications, but unfortunately, I can't reply.

Also, I am not updated again concerning chemicals and fertilizers. The last time I tried helping a family member was in Aug last year and I ran into trouble because the inputs were mostly fake. I had to get help from another experienced friend. So, I am completely out of chemical and fertilizer farming.

What I do now is precision natural farming using artificial intelligence, data, and microbiology (genetics coming later). This is not for late adopters and peope with hard earned money. Hard earned people no dey try innovation, so, me sef a no dey ask them. Not insulting anyone, but 99.999999% people in agric here cannot try innovation. I know what names they call me here when I was introducing drip irrigation and mulch. I don't have the time to convince anyone again and trying to set up collective farming for all to move together. The way AI is moving fast, it doesn't allow me to even say anything to late adopters. Early adopters catch me on time anyhow. Innovation is moving so fast that I can't get time to convince anyone when I am always trying to catch up myself. Data to analyse, models to create and fine tune. Partners working with me on creating reasoning-led and agentic intelligence for agric in naija. This is huge and enough to occupy my time sirs and ma's. Even still working with some MLOps experts (I do it too) for some technical areas. So, the work is broad and so wide. Sorry if you don't understand all what I wrote up, but I am putting these things here so that if you understand them, you may likely understand why I may likely not answer you.

So, if you have written me, and you didn't get a reply....I amso sorry about it. It's not in my habit to ignore people, but my hands are really tight now.

Knowing that I cannot help you with fertilizer & chemical farming, but you still have something to say, reach me at telegram: @MercyGraceFavor
