Most lga chairmen na to p..imp LGA council be their highest trademark. The lga autonomy go make House of Assembly members small boys compared to LGA chairmen. It will also affect the influence of the governors.

If this LGA autonomy is implemented. It's a massive win for democracy. LGA chairmen are closer to the masses than the governors and hence will be easily held accountable. Elections will be more competitive. I'm assuming for sum LGA elections will be more important than Governorship elections
