I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. 

I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information.

Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.

Barack Obama

There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.

Speaker Pelosi

As one whose family has been the victim of political violence, I know firsthand that political violence of any kind has no place in our society. I thank God that former President Trump is safe.

As we learn more details about this horrifying incident, let us pray that all those in attendance at the former President’s rally today are unharmed.

My sincere condolences to the families that lost loved ones and were injured

After attacking him via court which is not working, they've resorted to physical attack, then quickly run to social media to claim innocency. It just means these guys will fail against Trump in all ramifications. I think the real beast of a problem to democracy here are the Democrats who has turn US politics to cat and dog republic. They said Trump is a threat to democracy because they know he'd probe their asses for the crimes they've committed, so they want to eliminate him by all means. They first thought he'd be jailed but luckily, the US judiciary is not easily controlled like that of Nigeria. My support is fully for Trump and he'll win Biden hands down, because the more they attack him, the more they give him supporters.

But on a second thought after seeing the video, he was just lucky to be alive. Seems the killer wanted a confirmed death of headshot.

U ve no idea, his sudden (divine) head movements saved him. It would have been a headshot if not for him moving his head in millisecond. The shooter wanted a confirmed death that is why he went for headshot, if not shooting center mass would have gotten trump and might be 50/50.

You v a point though. My opinion changed after seeing the footage.

Who could be behind the shooting? So far so good, Trump has been the major beneficiary of the incidence. The entire country has rallied behind him. If there was any doubt about him winning the election, today’s shooting just made it easier for him. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but there is more to this shooting than just one loner trying to act alone. I think it was well planned and packaged to get the current outcome.

This is a very good PR for Trump even with the allegations that it might have been staged. The sympathy this has brought him has propelled him to clear frontrunner status come November. Never mind that the shooter is a registered republican.

Democrats need a Sherlock Holmes to unravel this convincingly. Otherwise they should say Otilor.

Democrats behaves like Yorubas, as in deceptive, skilled in propaganda, piting one group against another. Big on socialism, taxation, borrowing and spending. Also two-faced people, promote single mother households and liberalism/agboroism. They vote based on habit and selfish interest resulting in poor candidate selection. For example, they support Biden even though he's clearly unfit. Same way they supported Buharri and Tinubbu that put us in this mess.

While Republicans behave like Igbo people, very straight forward, don't wish anyone evil, believe in fairness and justice, capitalism, cutting cost, low taxes and pro business . Promote two parent households and conservative lifestyle. They vote best available candidates, not on habit, tribe or selfish interest. Igbos always support the best candidate available regardless of tribe and selfish interest.
