The LCDA is one of the illegal local government areas not recognized by law. If not that Supreme Court is being teleguide why didn't they abolish that too since its not in the Constitution.

It’s like the Old Ojo road isn’t part of the Oriade Lcda. The whole stretch of the road is a mess, especially from Agboju to Maza maza. The road is impassable.

Forget media frenzy, this woman that can’t construct even a street road in Satelite Town and it’s environment.
She comes to work from Lekki through the waterways hence her reason to fix only few jetty. Those that don’t stay in Satelite Town should shut up. I live in Satelite Town.

Hon @Ramotalai001 commissioned three road projects in Oriade LCDA on Thursday, April 11, 2019:

- Esetedo Road
- Paul Shotinoye Road (Alakija)
- Iyaagbe-Ikaare Linked Bridge (Riverine)

I did not even know that she was the one that fixed Paul Shotinoye. I thought it was the state. Interesting.

This is the more reason why they need to blow their own trumpet. Open twitter, Facebook and Instagram account and show off their achievements.

That's because Lagos is not kolobi-ing LGA funds like most other states. I remember obj even quarrelled with Tinubu because the latter created more LGAs.

I miss golden old days of LG autonomy.

My LG IREWOLE IKIRE,OSUN STATE was able to do alot under LERE OYEWUNMI now a senator

Primary school buildings
Health care centres
New police station
We switched from Ibadan electricity feeding to Osogbo courtesy him thereby improving our electricity supply.
Alot of empowerment then-SEYI MAKINDR,though I like him,didn't know what he was saying when he claimed LG autonomy should be done away with because of hunger...honestly LG autonomy can solve 40% of hunger....I could remember,my LG was the one supplying Tractors to local farmers then,presently that system is dead!
Sharing of exercise books to students

Honestly,there a lot to gain from LG autonomy. People will now start seeing real impact of government closeness

Was Seyi Makinde not living in America or so. Person wey dey talk rubbish. He just wants to be in charge of allocation from Abuja. Then disburse or not disburse as he likes. Even in America, they have city and county administration which are autonomous and are doing very well by taking care of all municipal services in the city or county.

With direct allocation to the 774 local government in Nigeria what becomes of LCDA like this, that are not recognised by the constitution
Constitutionally recognised local government in Lagos is 20,those are the ones that will get allocation, what then happens to the remaining 32 lcda
