No doubt nairaland is a great forum that has given a good number of people the platform to express their faith, ideas ,opinion and thoughts .
but this same nairaland has been unfair and (nearly)unconsiderate about some issues regarding tribes and religion.
nairaland fuels tribalism alot.
nairaland pushes threads that are critical of christianity to the front page (almost) every sunday ;something that can hardly happen to the islamic section.

U dont need to swear and confess jesus as your savior befor commenting in the christian dominated religion section but you most confess Allah as god and muhammad his prophet befor commenting in the islamic section.
this is unfair to the christians and even other non christians.

i dont know if nairaland's mods enjoy seeing tribes tear themselves up or it just a strategy to gain traffick.
seun most see the need to modify this platform to one that unites people from one that tears them apart.

Three things:

1. Seun the founder and many mods that handle frontpage are atheists
2. Seun was threatened with one of those Muslim laws to create a special Muslim section
3. Seun said he'll create Christian section ever since 1st January. Also made some other promises that haven't been fulfilled.

the reason is that majority of Nairalanders that blaspheme against others are christians. if islamic section is left for everyone to comment i swear na blasphemy will full the section. there r lots of senseless nairalanders that resolve to blasphemy when they lost an argument with a muslim person. u hardly see a muslim blaspheme against christianity or insult jesus.
