You then allowed insecurity to grow which stopped the farmers from even working. You removed fuel subsidy that raised the price of transportation. You stopped fx subsidy and that further led to the increase in inflation. Make FG do the importation but this blaming of farmers nor go weight 1 Like |

GloriousGbola:Industrial farming is capital intensive . Our leaders( governors ) will rather waste money than invest in such . I have a relative that uses to work with a company that leases Agro-equipment to farmers . Those tractors and other farm equipment are quite expensive from What I heard . It is a capital intensive project that will require serious investment |

izzou:It's meant to be a 150 days import duty free on Agric produce. All those 70% tariff will be gone and those smuggling in through borders and having to pay custom officers bribe can import in legally. They said its temporary and not permanent solution. |
