Umar Bush, a Hausa skitmaker known for his humorous and often controversial content, has been appointed as the Special Assistant on Entertainment to Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, the Senior Special Assistant to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities.

The announcement was made public today on Umar Bush’s Facebook account, as seen by Kano Times.

The official appointment was confirmed in a letter with reference number SSAP/SNEO/24/VOL.1/464, addressed to Umar Dan Kawu, also known as Umar Mariri Tsamiya, in Kano State.

The appointment letter, titled “APPOINTMENT AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT ON ENTERTAINMENT,” conveyed the approval of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities.

The appointment is set for a two-year term, effective July 10, 2024, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
