US uses .gov.us or .gov.(tld of the state )

any fool can create a .ng domain in Nigeria which cost roughly 10k
same as any scammer living in Dubai can create an .ae domain.
that .gov.ae will differentiate it from a government official website to normal website that can be created in ae.

The website does not necessarily need to be a UAE owned .gov.ae before it can verify documents from Nigeria applicant. It could be one of the conditions UAE gave to Nigeria considering how Nigerians have penchant for falsifying document.

That does not necessarily mean the site is fake. In their terms and conditions, they mentioned the site responsibilities.

The website itself do not offer visa, it is just a document verification hub.

To explain this using USA for example:
—Normally you need to provide proof of bank statement and etc to the embassy.

—Before, the embassy at one point contact the bank to verify if the document is legit or not. I don’t think they do it anymore at least for F-1.

—So if the USA government or Nigeria government contract an agency to verify those document before you can appear for visa at the embassy, how is that a scam?
