The protest sponsors are boldly written up there.
North.

Shut up and attack them.
They should focus their protest in the North if there's anything protest down SW it would be counter protest. Una dey craze. I was at Lekki Toll gate during End Sars protest, no Northern state protester. Northerners disrupted any attempt of protest in Abuja, not even Shaitte or what's what were allowed to protest.

Una dey craze ones again for that North

Please keep your protest in the north and await the counter protest from the south. 2 can play the game.

Are you blind? Can't you see the wordings of conveners of the protest shame you Igbos? "Aboki is dull" and "Danladi no get brain" yet look at how they articulate what they want to achieve that all progressive Nigerians, including myself, can support and endorse?

When have Igbos shown anything other than fundamentalist and bellicose insistence everything for them is about "Tinubu must go"?

When have Igbos, as Northerners now show the maturity to enunciate, ever taken a charity begins at home approach to demand a protest to "shine a spotlight on pressing regional issues and advocate for meaningful reforms".

Everything for all Igbos is "Tinubu must be poisoned", "Tinubu must die" and "Tinubu must be removed" etal.

It is becoming obvious now that only Igbos shun progressive search for solutions and are insistent everything for them begjns and end with Tinubu's removal.

I am personally predicting violent and anarchic protests some want is DOA. If every region is serious then demand national dialogue during peaceful protests that Tinubu will immediately acquiesce to.

Jagaban is no fool. Far from it. He is a proactive leader who believes in controlling the narrative. His insistence protests can go ahead and that protestors must not be harmed is deliberate.

Once the people get a voice and say what they want, as Northerners now hint with their demand for "spotlight on pressing regional issues", who is Tinubu to deny the demands of the people themselves?

Let us then see any leader from anywhere that will resist what the people have publicly announced they want , be that regional autonomy or even referendum, without been viewed internationally an enemy of Nigeria.

More than one way to skin a Cat.
@WizardOfNG, it's remarkable how you manage to reduce a complex issue to a series of sweeping generalizations and baseless accusations. Your rant about Igbos and their supposed singular focus on "Tinubu must go" is not only ignorant but also reveals your deep-seated biases and inability to engage in constructive discourse.

Your claim that Igbos have never taken a "charity begins at home" approach is laughable. It's evident you lack an understanding of the numerous initiatives and efforts by Igbos to address regional issues and promote development. Your narrow-minded view blinds you to the fact that people across all regions are struggling and advocating for change.

You paint Igbos as fundamentally bellicose and obsessed with Tinubu's removal, yet you fail to see the broader context of their grievances. This isn't about one man; it's about a systemic failure that has left many Nigerians disillusioned and desperate for real change. Your obsession with framing Igbos as radicals only serves to highlight your own insecurities and prejudices.

Predicting violent and anarchic protests based on your warped view of an entire ethnic group is not only irresponsible but also dangerous. Instead of fostering unity and understanding, you perpetuate division and hostility. Your so-called predictions are nothing more than fear-mongering.

The idea that Tinubu is a proactive leader who believes in controlling the narrative is laughable. Your blind faith in his ability to address the demands of the people is misplaced. Protests and demands for change are not about controlling the narrative but about genuinely listening to the people and addressing their needs.

Your comment about a national dialogue and peaceful protests being the solution is ironic given your disdain for the very people who are advocating for change. If you truly believed in a national dialogue, you would support all voices, including those of the Igbos, rather than demonizing them.

In conclusion, your rhetoric is a prime example of the toxic and divisive mentality that hinders progress in Nigeria. Instead of contributing to meaningful solutions, you choose to spread hatred and fear. It's time to move beyond your narrow prejudices and start engaging in real, constructive dialogue. Only then can we hope to see true progress and unity in Nigeria.

SHUT UP AND STOP TRIVALISING THE ISSUE ON GROUND..WE ARE THE REASON WHY GOVERNMENT FEELS ENTITLED TO DO ANYTHING THEY LIKE.. THIS IS NOT ABOUT SOUTH OR NORTH, THERE IS HIGH LEVEL OF POVERTY IN THE COUNTRY I DONT CARE WHETHER IT IS NORTH OR SOUTH IS IN POWER.. IT IS TIME FOR US TO EXPRESS OUR DISPLEASURE TO THE GOVERNMENT..AS WORST AS BUHARI, HE IS BETTER THAN TINUBU.. TINUBU 1 YEAR IN GOVERNMENT HAS BROUGHT ALL DIMENSION OF POVERTY INTO THE NATION THAN DISTRATIOUS 8 YEARS OF BUHARI.. Bro, let them even protest peacefully and state their demands precisely. Tinubu is a wise leader who knows how to turn the mischief and hidden agenda of others against them.

This is a President who took all governors to court over LG autonomy and won. Not may saw that coming.

If all regions will begin to state their demands publicly then the world will be watching and taking notes. It will soon get to a stage where crucial matters others did not want touched will be deliberated on.

We will then see who the true enemies of Nigeria are when the progressive Tinubu resolves to respect the wishes of Nigerians be that regional governance or even convening referendum.

Tinubu's pro-protest body language shows the man knows what his Northern born-to-rule and IPOB enemies wish to use the protest for. He certainly won't be caught lacking by his opps, It is a game of chess Nigerians are pawns in.

Let us see who wins.

Mtchwww if only the North joined us during the end sars protests, we won't be where we are at the moment but they chose to remain silent and now things have become worse for everyone.

It's the Igbos who want to make same mistake now, they want to abstain from the protest like we becoming divided as a nation will be of any good to anyone.

I'm yoruba and I participated in the end sars protests, tho I have said I won't join any protests after my brother managed to escape at the lekki toll gate that night, but I'm a Nigerian and I'll do anything or join any movement geared towards the betterment of my country.
No tribe can do it alone be it hausa , igbo or yoruba. None of us can liberate or rescue Nigeria alone. We need to stay united now more than ever. The government have so much confidence in carrying out corruption activities now than ever why? Because they have successfully divided the youths into 3 groups Arewa, Ronu gangs and the Obidient gangs which I belong to.
But regardless I'll do what needs to be done which is fight for my country.
So you agreed that something actually happened at the toll gate but some people claimed it was all some hoax. Now you want the SE to join in some protest so that those people that use to blame everything on SE can turn around and blame them for trying to burn down Nigeria right?
The truth is that we have long been divided already in this country and its becoming more obvious even to the blind, Unity has been dragged in the mud and things can never remain the same ever again.

If Nigeria wants to sink let it sink for all I care, if we can't swim then let's drown.

Your attempt to paint Tinubu as a wise leader and master strategist while demonizing entire groups of people is transparent and pathetic. It’s clear that you’re more interested in stoking division and perpetuating stereotypes than engaging in any meaningful dialogue.

Claiming that Tinubu's support for protests is a clever ploy to outsmart his so-called "enemies" is laughable. It's not a game of chess, and Nigerians are not pawns. These are real people with real grievances, and reducing their struggles to a mere power play shows just how disconnected you are from the reality on the ground.

Your fixation on portraying Northerners and IPOB as enemies of Nigeria is a tired and dangerous narrative. It reveals your own insecurities and inability to accept that different groups can have legitimate concerns and aspirations. Painting these groups as malicious actors with hidden agendas only serves to fuel further division and animosity.

If you truly believe in peaceful protests and stating demands precisely, then stop demonizing those who are advocating for change. Your rhetoric about Tinubu respecting the wishes of Nigerians is hollow when you simultaneously dismiss and vilify the voices calling for those very changes.

It's time to move beyond your simplistic and antagonistic worldview. If you genuinely want to see progress in Nigeria, start by recognizing the humanity and legitimacy of all voices, not just those that align with your narrow perspective. Only then can we hope to build a truly united and prosperous nation.
