The Court held that there was a breach of the provisions of the procedure laid out in Section 188(1) to (9) in the way and manner the impeachment process was conducted. The court noted that the ouster clause in Section 188(10) limiting the jurisdiction is not a stand alone provision.

Dey play....did you see the speed with which this judgement was delivered? You think it's ordinary? The powers that be can make judgement happen at the appeal court in few weeks. I remember oshiomhole court case then, when he was removed as chairman of Apc. Appeal court rush the matter like sharwama.

The papers are saying he declared that the impeachment was politically motivated. I wonder how that makes any sense to a neutral mind. Anyway, read below subsection 10 and 11 of section 188 which he based his judgement on. See for yourself if a court has the powers to determine what constitutes gross misconduct
