There are lots of callous citizens in this country, if our leaders are failing us, are our mothers in the market also suppose to do the same?

Las las,the money we are all clamouring and hustling,and struggling for,and in the process oppressing our fellow men,we won't take them with us to our graves.......And that's the sweetest thing I've always loved about life and death..


Honestly,when I see people insulting our political leaders and all that,I only laugh.....Cuz the heart of an average Nigerian is even filled up with more wickedness than you can ever imagine....

Now tell me,is this not a pure definition of heartlessness? Some people are only out to make lives more difficult for their fellow humans..

Most especially those middle people that go to rural areas source. That's why farmers are the poorest 💯

Unfortunately, this rubbish is in every nook and cranny of the Nigerian society.

Artisans dare not do a job for anyone at a price lesser than what "the association" stipulates. Else, heavy fine awaits you.

I remember in my final year. Student union went to connive with our lecturers not to allow us write exams until we pay SUG due. Money that they were looting and spending on smoking, clubbing and alcohol.

What's worse is that these associations have no benefit that their members (especially the weak and younger ones) enjoy from them. For example, despite paying huge dues to NURTW, their leaders won't ever support them when they're harassed by the police. Instead they'll blame them and ask them to "settle" the officers.

That said, this doesn't mean absolve our political leaders of their crime in looting us. It only shows that corruption and wickedness have been institutionalized in our society.

Tomorrow now, these wicked market women will give someone a Congo of garri and people will be hailing them, not knowing that they're only spending 0.01% of their loot.

What the market women are scared of is same thing fuel marketers are scared of if dangote gets local crude oil for his refinery.

They want to be selling at the same price with Lagos state.

Ordinarily, prices of foodstuff in rural areas should be lower than in cities.

But for some reasons known and unknown, it is not so.

I thought in business, you sell according how you bought?

If she bought hers cheaper, then she can sell at a cheaper rate. Or maybe she needed money to solve an issue, so she decided to sell off her garri.

Its her goods, if she want to gain or lose, its her choice..... My opinion though....

Instead of fighting her, buy hers very cheap and when she has run out of supply, start selling at profit. Thats how open market works and not this occultic arrangement.

Get mercy on one another at their own expense? Do you know the cost of producing garri or do you want them to report loss just to help one another? Always weigh all options before judging a case.
