A school has already sued the Gov to quash that law and if that case happens to go to the supreme Court which is already leaning towards conservatives then you are about to receive a shocker and those judges that made the bench conservative leaning were appointed by trump during his first presidency.

With all these things we hear about the US, I always wonder how they became the "great" country people perceive them to be. How Nigerians are madly in love with migrating at all cost to the country.

If you're ever to japa to the US, stay far away from woke states like California, Washington State, Nevada etc. They are completely expunging parents rights on their own children and indoctrinating them with all sorts of LGBT nonsense. Even their kindergarten books have LGBT contents in them. Southern states like Tennessee, Alabama, Florida etc are still conservative to some extent. Not like there are no LGBT stuffs there, at least they're not shoving their doctrines down children's throat...Yet!

Every state has its own Supreme Court in America, unlike Nigeria. Americans practices true federalism, where Federal legislation has only little or no impact on state legislation.

A parent should know if their child is transgender or not. If you’re relying on the school to tell you whether the child you birthed and live with is transgender or not, then there’s something ridiculously wrong with that relationship. Don’t blame the school. Blame your uninvolved parenting style.

Washington state is my home state and now I’m currently a Californian by temporary residence. I’ve only ever visited Nevada (Vegas things) otherwise I don’t have real experience in Nevada.

I’ve also lived in some red states due to the nature of my families nomadic lifestyle

Let me tell you there’s no comparison. Literally none. The quality of life is unmatched. What red states have over these places is propaganda. They know that if they pluck those cords that harmonize with the parts of our hearts that prioritizes God and religion, they can use propaganda all day everyday to mask how they are the worst places to live in. Slave wages, anti worker policies, weak infrastructure, deep deep rooted racism that their judges have no problems publicly expressing. They still hunt & hang black people, rule it suicide and everyone turns a blind eye.

What Californians and Washingtonians ask is that everyone be treated equally. You can go to church without harassment, you can express your personal faith without harassment, you can love your God vocally without harassment. You can literally do anything you want that pertains to your faith in your own life and no one will ever bat an eye. But you’re prohibited from harassing others in the same way that you’re protected from harassment. This is the part the republicans don’t like and that’s why they come up with the tall tales they spread online.

The Washington republicans especially are very rabid about their hate for LGBTQ people that’s why they spread lies about how kids are being indoctrinated. Teachers aren’t even allowed to talk to kids about their sexuality. So where’s the indoctrination?

Never ever in all my years of living in these places has one LGBTQ person came up to me or my kid to talk about sexuality or anything pertaining to it. I don’t want to know about it and they keep their business to themselves. What more can one reasonably ask for?


Personally I’m with this ruling. If a child’s parents can’t tell that their child is transgender, there must be something wrong at home. At best, It shows a serious lack of involvement from the parent. At worst there may other bigger issues at play.

So it’s best for the child to be the one to tell their parents when they feel safe to do so. If your kid doesn’t you (generic), as a teacher I won’t feel it wise to trust you either until I know why that kid doesn’t feel safe with you.
