The woman selling garri at a cheaper price is actually the one doing disservice to her colleagues. She was obviously selling garri at a cheaper price to woo customers after which she will increase the price. This is the strategy most retailers. They are willing to take the losses on current profit for the future profits.

Her colleagues were livid with her because she isn't acting for their interests as well. If they are forced to sell at a cheaper price they will record losses as well. That's a selfish and duplicitous act.
