Palliatives is the major cause of food inflation, when subsidy was removed, and the government agrees to use rice as a palliative, the prices of rice rose up astronomically in the market due to the over demand by the government.

When he believes the only solution to the people's problems is rice as he used to do in his burdillon house in lagos, where you'd see people line up to collect one derica of rice with 2k. I remember the stampede that took place in ikeja when they went to collect rice and people died in the process. What an awkward mentality from a wicked leader.
