Bloody Hypocrites... The North never joined the End Sars protest during buhari's tenure because they felt protesting is anti Islam but all of a sudden the north want to protest because a southerner is now in power. Smh
Lovenorth:
Good one, we don't need their presence in the protest, we have the number to achieve our goal without the participation of the minority. We voted for Tinubu single handedly without Igbos so we don't need them now. Tinubu knows that if the North blacklist him he automatically lost his chances in the next election. You didn't vote for him so your boycotting the protest is inconsquential

If you like , call me chukudi, ko kan aye. Only a fool will compare Anambra or Abia or whatever with lagos, a cosmopolitan city in terms of population and revenue generation. I live in alimosho. Our population alone will swallow up that of Anambra and abia.

That said, over 50% of investments in Lagos are owned by ibo. You may disagree but take a look at it from those in charge of hospitality business in lagos. A large percentage of hotels here are owned by them, likewise household wares products. Go to Coker, Odunade, trade fair, alaba...90% of shop owners selling them are ibo. In banking, they own some of the leading banks here, you know already. What of spare parts, na dem. Who pay a higher percentage as tax to lagos government, them of course. They are leaders in pharmaceuticals too.

We will not realise all these facts until Nigeria finally breaks up. I don't know your age but if you were grown up during June 12 election annulment protest, when almost all of them were called home, you'd have an idea what I'm talking about. Everywhere was desolate. Lagos looked like a ghost town cos we couldn't see things to buy. Protesters were seen breaking their shops they left behind and looting. That was the only protest in Nigeria, which tribalists didn't link to ibo. Life returned after normalcy was restored. That's why I always encourage youths amongst us to begin learning what we may lack once Nigeria breaks up cos it won't be funny.

Impostor or not, I've spoken my mind. As illiterate as you are, you don't seem to know that no single iboman will deny his tribe, even if you'd kill them. The day you guys supporting tinubu called obasanjo an iboman, I stopped defending whatever names you call me. Iwofa lęnu

Oh, well, just as history had it, there were 2 political parties, the NRC and SDP, set up by the then military president, IBB. MKO contested under the SDP while Tofa contested under the NRC. People were just tired of the military government and thehr exsess, especially the abuse of rule of law.

The election was slated for June 12, 1993. MKO tagged his campaign theme Hope '93. The election went on and it was an open ballot one. Abiola won. It was a free and fair election. The IBB later annulled it and claimed it was marred with irregularities.

Abiola was parading himself as the winner and a president-election which angered IBB and he declared him wanted. There was a protest in lagos and other parts of the south west and south south cos of the annulment. Igbos left for the south east, learning from the past protests in the country in which their properties were destroyed by hoodlums and some igbos died.

When normalcy returned, they returned to Lagos. Abiola, having been declared wanted, went into hiding. That's the summary of what happened dear
