Here is the summary of the interview:

1. Dangote cannot source crude oil for the refinery. Nobody wants to sell to him, or are demanding a premium. He has even gone to Brazil, and they refused to sell to him. In other words, the project is closer to failing, than working. Nigeria’s image is so terrible that nobody wants to deal with him.

2. He was advised to stop investing in Nigeria due to APC’s bad governance. He shunned their advice and continued investing. Now his rich friends are laughing at him for investing in Nigeria. All of them have moved their investments abroad.

3. Alhaji is 67 and is tired of playing all these games. He wants out, and is willing to sell the refinery to anybody willing to buy. It’s probably his greatest ever mistake in business. He also doesn’t mind if Rehoboam takes everything away from him. He doesn’t need billions to survive(his own words).
