LegendHero:But in 2012, it was ok for you to protest in the UK? https://www.channelstv.com/2012/01/05/occupy-nigeria-protest-in-london-nigerians-in-the-diaspora-set-to-protest/ https://saharareporters.com/2012/01/06/photonews-occupy-nigeria-protesters-occupy-nigerian-embassy-london#google_vignette Well, I agree that protests should be peaceful, but you cannot stop sane Yorubas from voicing out thier discontent with the apc. So your attempt to give the protests against the poor governance of apc an ethnic colouration will fail, the people know better. It is best you advice your party to be up and doing so it can turn around the country for good. |

ivandragon:During EndSars, I protested at the Nigeria embassy in Atlanta. I think the thread is on Nairaland. Normally, everyone should be able to protest anywhere they want but after Endsars protest and how we saw how The Ibos used the protest as a decoy to destroy Lagos facilities with kanu placing his comrades in it, we are now alive to their game. If Nigerians in the UK protest and burn the Buckingham palace, the Bristish government will not be stweepid to allow them another protest. Once beaten twice shy! |

The bourgeoisie and the political class use the police as a tool to oppress the proletariat. Its nothing new Nigerians have the fundamental right to peaceful protest. |

Political policemen. There's absolutely no basis for anyone to suggest we jettison the protest. It is necessary albeit I advice Igbos especially those in the SW to stay away for obvious reasons. |

LegendHero:https://gazettengr.com/ipob-malami-lied-documents-show-15-suspects-charged-with-burning-oba-of-lagos-palace-are-yoruba/ You can't hide under the guise of ethnic jingoism to excuse a failing government. Anyway, it is the charlatans, kanu and ekpa I blame. They are the ones that have provided an excuse for people such as yourself to spread hate and disunity so that the apc would not be held accountable for its failures. Lagos is a cosmopolitan city and it is normal that there would be non-indigenous miscreants who are criminals regardless of where they are. I pray that the protests are peaceful and I hope the government stops using your likes to preach hate. We must always think of life after politics. Bat won't be in power forever and neither would the apc. So what happens next? Are we going to continue the circle of violence, hate and disunity? Learn to preach peace and speak truth to government. |

ivandragon:Nigeria is a nation of multiple ethnicities. Protest in Abuja the FCT and your region. If we all protest in all region at once, it will be better. But if you think you will leave your region and then concentrate the destructive protest in the West, it SHALL not happen! Have a nice day bro |

With some comments i am seeing here, it's very obvious that this protest will not change anything in Nigeria, but definitely gonna end like endsars without any changes. Because what the Bleep will make a country where people are suffering be so divided to an extend where in an important upcoming protest like this some stupid people are still against it. If the poor cannot fight and protest for themselves i wonder why the rich will even care or do we expect someone as rich as dangote to come advocate for freedom for us? Of course no. Main while na who chop dey go protest, if you no see food chop abeg no move that day oo . As for me i no really know about any protest i just saw the information here now. But if there is any in my location so far i chop, take my small highness am gud too go. I must come out to protest for my freedom and that of other patriotic Nigerians.#Nigeria and Nigerians must be liberated from this imprisonment we find ourselves. #We say no to hardship and bad governance. #Let the voice of the masses and voiceless be heard. #One Nigeria I Stand. |
