For the avoidance of doubt, the rights of citizens to protest are ENSHRINED in the Nigerian Constitution and AFFIRMED by our courts. Section 40 of the 1999 Constitution (as altered) unequivocally guarantees the right to peaceful assembly and association.

Chasing shadows and contriving purported persons behind the planned protests is an exercise in futility when it is obvious that Nigerians, including supporters of Tinubu and the ruling APC, are caught up in the hunger, anger, and hopelessness brought about by the incompetence and cluelessness of this government.

It is deeply ironic that those who now seek to stifle these rights were themselves leading protests in 2012. A responsible government must ensure a SAFE and SECURE environment for citizens to exercise their constitutionally guaranteed rights to PEACEFUL PROTEST. Any attempt to suppress these rights is not only unconstitutional but a direct affront to our democracy. -AA

Atiku, the master of empty promises, is at it again. Who even takes him seriously anymore? Protests won't fix the mess; maybe he should focus on his own failures first before rallying the crowd.

Protests is your right.

You have the right to protest anywhere you are living in Nigeria as far as Nigeria's constitution is concerned

Anyone that tells you to go to your state, tell them to divide Nigeria first.

Protest is one of our fundamental inalienable rights and we must exercise it. The potential protest is indeed necessary, as we need to press home our demands and hold the govt accountable for their actions and inactions. Their economic policies have continued to remain inimical to the collective interest of the Masses.
Any attempt to circumvent this protest will be highly resisted. We are tired of the situation of this great country. The Hunger, the insecurity, the unemployment and persistent rise in the general price level of goods and services are killing the common Man.
