Just imagine, 70,000 basic without allowance. That means with allowance, GL. 1 will go home with nothing less than 120,000. That's funny.

We have allowances and deductions too. The basic will get allowances addition and deductions as a result of tax, health insurance, housing fund etc. So when u hear basic, know that's before allowances are added and tax etc deductions are subtracted as well

Bro you Corpers are placed on level 1 (I’m not sure if it is step 1 or 2). Don’t expect any monthly pay/alert higher than 75k/77k. By the way, u don’t earn salary, u earn stipend for now. So don’t force ur way or imagine ursef into level 6 ok? 😂

The Allowances are part of minimum wage. It's not a basic salary but monthly minimum wage.

Even this too is rubbish. A proper table will be released in few weeks. And a separate table will be released for all the salary structures, with each reflecting the consequential adjustment from the Minimum Wage.

The table will be signed by the NSIWC. Also, it will carry figures per annum and not monthly like this table you posted. It will also be explicit to the last naira, i.e you will see figures like 1874321 (per annum) for level 09 step 1. Not 141k and other informal ways of writing amounts in figures.

At no time did the FG pay youth corp members the exact MW. From 2012-2019, the FG paid 19,800 when the MW was 18,000. Same as during the MW regime that preceded the 18,000 era. There has always been an additional 10% of the MW paid to corp members.
