As a matter of fact they should just change their Igbo names (personal names, town names, group names, etc) to ANYTHING other than Igbo as a way to send a clear message to the whole world that they are not Igbo.
I mean how can a Kayode Olumide claim not to be Yoruba? Who is his right mind would believe that crap?
For some in Anioma land claiming not to be Igbo, they should please change Anioma to Amoina (simply spell it backwards). That's enough to de-igbonize the name.

Good advice. Because by their names the enemy must surely tag them Igbo and that is one bad thing about denying your identity.

WizardOfNG, helinues and yarimo will sure call them Igbo if they join the protest, and are found wanting. The same people will still help them deny their Igbo heritage when south Easterners opens their arms to receive them as their brothers they are.

If you say you're not Igbo, maintain this during the protest. If you deny being Igbo, don't claim Igbo after protest.
