It is very simple.

Don't protest... but don't ever disturb us about how life is difficult in the country. Whether fuel sells for N1000/ltr or a bag of rice is N100k, just exercise some patience. During second term campaign, they will promise you that it will come down to N25/ltr and N3k ber bag respectively. As usual, you will dance and make merry on false promises ...and the cycle continues.

It's totally true that the protest has been hijacked and is now political. But hijacked by who exactly?

I fear that from Day 1 it would be hijacked by APC thugs and govt agents, just like the EndSARS protest which were 100% peaceful and carnival-like for 3 full weeks until APC counter-protest thugs and soldiers were sent into the streets to attack peaceful Nigerians.

About the protest being politicised, despite the excruciating hunger and hardship in the land, the fact that ONLY Tinubu and APC supporters, sycophants and thugs are vehemently vocal against any protests already speaks volumes on how the protests have been politicised by APC.
