How can some people be clamouring for a nationwide protest with the exception of their region.

Protest is an individual right guaranteed by the constitution. Nobody can prevent anyone from peaceful protest.

they have reasonable Yorubas amongst them and they're protesting along with well meaning Nigerians

I really feel that since this protest is heading this direction. Then the Igbos should really stay away from Lagos and every part of southwest.


I keep saying this... The southwest don't like the southeast. Why are the ibis still forcing themselves where they're rejected every now and then?


Whatever business you have in Lagos and whatever investment you've put... Bring all of it back to your region. And develop your region.

This protest will just lead to another civil war as Yorubas have started saying that it's ibis that are pushing for the protest more.

I doubt if there is any governor in the southwest that pays lower than 30k as we have many governors in the east paying below 30k as minimum wage.


Yet, the agitation to protest in the east isn't as strong as it is in the west.

Also, asking people to stay away from their businesses every Monday by a certain group of people while nobody is complaining or doing anything about it is annoying. But if the same policy was said to take place in the west, they'd complain that their business is not moving because of that...

My input on this is simple.... The ibis need a good reform and they should stop pointing fingers when they've got logs of woods in their eyes already.

So many things is wrong in the eastern region and because they're not living there.... They tend to keep shut about it where western affairs seems to disturb them more than the real westerners.

Telling someone that Lagos is a no man's land is foolish.... And the most stupid statement of all times is telling someone you develop a region that's hundreds of miles away from your region.

It's very simple... And any reasonable human should think in this direction.

Lagos state is NOT YOUR STATE OF ORIGIN. And mounting a protest or grieving over hardship were you're given shelter and enabling environment to excel with your business is wickedness.

Igbos are supposed to protect Lagos state even more than the Yorubas because they're the biggest beneficiaries of the state.

If you can show where the constitution says you must go to your hometown to protest then I'll believe you

I hope you understand that the section 40 also informed you not to infringed on the rights of others. Protesting in another man's region and trying to destroy their properties is infringing on their rights.

I hope you learn the hard way if you don't understand rejections. Go to your state and protest... Where you have rights as an indigenous child.

Every Nigerian has same rights anywhere in Nigeria. The constitution recognizes citizens and not indigenes

Same way you can't be elected as a governor in Anambra if you're from Abia state. Same region.

You should never claim to take actions in a region you're not from,. especially if your actions is seeking for a better governance.
