Cooking: Why Do Some Nigerian Wives Do This? by VinnyBaba(op): 9:16am On Jul 25, 2024
Our Nigerian Ladies can Visit and cook for their YAHOO boy Boyfriend at every Hour he Desires
But once they get Married to a Man, Cooking becomes STRESS for them. undecided

They start Disturbing the Husband for Housemaid.
But during their University Days, some of these same Ladies Co-habited and cooked for their Boyfriend before going for Lectures. sad sad

PLEASE, MARRIED MEN AND WOMEN HERE, What's the Cause of This? 🤔😒

because Many Married men do NOT have Breakfast b4 going to Work
as their Wives always claim they are Tired. 😟

Re: Cooking: Why Do Some Nigerian Wives Do This? by Zonefree(m):
Men should try and learn how to cook. Don't allow any woman hold you hostage because of food.

If she refuse cooking, enter kitchen, make your meal, eat and bounce. Then, deprive her of things she normally gets from you.

I hate to see men complain about food every time. Cooking is a basic survival instinct not gender based.

This is wrong and also the reason most marriage fail.

My dad used to cook better egusi soup with tomatoes back then. I don't know where he learnt that, maybe Lagos, cos that's where he grew up. Na me dey help am grind the tomatoes while my mum , sister and other siblings will be watching movies at the sitting room.

Cooking doesn't stop a man from being a man.

What's the evidence to back up your claim?

How many Nigerian homes employ the service of house helps in this present economy?

Is life the same in university and after?

Do all those who cohabit get married and expand their union?

Do these "pablets" who cook for "pablos" work?

Your problem is you fail to realize that marriage is not the same as dating. Lol

Re: Cooking: Why Do Some Nigerian Wives Do This? by GRACEGLORY:
As simple as cooking sounds, it could be difficult when either of the party is tired. Many women burn water on fire let alone foods. And some house getting burnt could have been saved if a tired person had not forgotten food on fire as a result of being tired.

It is the job of the husband and wife to manage the house, which includes cooking and providing revenue for the household. If both husband and wife work, they should share cooking responsibilities. If only the husband works, the wife is responsible for cooking; however, the husband should assist her in cooking.
Here in lies wisdom.

How old are you? |There's what's known as the place of rest. A married Nigerian woman has assumed a madam status and is therefore, entitled to benefits not seen in spinsterhood. A special status is stringed to a woman's honour.

I cook and bake more than most ladies and never have to depend on anyone. It is a very important skill to learn by everyone. Do not consider yourself literate if you are not able to follow a cooking recipe successfully.

1. Before marriage, you will cook for the boyfriend, but for most girls it is not everytime/ALL THE TIME. One of my classmates for university, his babe did cook for him occasionally (one time she cooked one sensible veg soup...na so I come land the house when chopping go start...enjoyed proper soup for the first time in months plus swallow....student life sha)...but not ALL the time, because she too was schooling, and school no easy (They are married now).

2.After marriage, you have to cook for your husband...breakfast, lunch and dinner....and then children come...breakfast, lunch dinner. You know in this tinubu times, there is nothing like stay at home wife....so woman has to work, and still dash home to cook breakfast lunch dinner, plus snack for children

Two different scenairos really.

Re: Cooking: Why Do Some Nigerian Wives Do This? by IrepChrist: 3:08pm On Jul 25, 2024
Youthful life is an hasty one. You want to engage in premarital sex. You want to co-habit, and you want to start washing his cloths and cooking for him. Once they get married it becomes uncomfortable because they have all they wanted. Wedding ring. Hyprocracy unto God.

Say no to premarital sex, say no to cohabitation, say no to ungodly relationships.

The reality of married life is hitting our dear brother Vinny grin grin grin
Now cast your mind back to the day you were being congratulated for a successful marriage.
Did you even think for a moment that you'll go to work without eating one of these days as a married man?
The reality is that it swings both way though.
There are many things you used to do for the missus before getting married like helping her take off her clothes in search of some loving which you hardly do since you got married.
You just have to enjoy the good and endure the bad whole ignoring the ugly.
Marriage like life itself is not a bed of roses.
