Unless you lived in an area close to the tv station, when you essentially could buy an indoor antenna....you were stuck with the outdoor verison...

I can remember one time way back when I had to go out and hold the antenna to keep the image clear, while my brother gave instructions from inside the house..lol

Unfortunately, the advent of Cable Satellite, followed by DSTV, rendered the TV antenna obsolete. Digital TV finished it.

That era don pass, DSTV ti takeover.

To see ordinary local channels now, you go dey reason to do DSTV subscription, NONSENSE.

Startimes has a variety of NTA based channels, and other Nigerian channels....but the era when your local NTA affilate was all you got (still happens in rural areas tho)..is gone.
