JASONjnr:
Isn't that what is playing out at the moment?

All ibos quoting me and giving me a million reasons why they should protest in Lagos?

But Imo, Enough, Anambra, Abia and the rest are rotting out with governors handling the state economy with whap mentality.

The government of Lagos is the best governor so far when it comes to visionary and development.

There's no governor of Lagos that isn't up and doing. But ibos focus and make these Lagos governor more popular than their own governors.
show me the quotes if you can... I don't see why I will leave my state to protest in another, it's senseless.

It's easy for you to shy away from the real things but only agree to point fingers.

If only you're willing to learn and to relearn... That's when you can be objective and not one minded focus.

Your leaders are the problem...but which of the leaders should you hold accountable?

But since you chose to focus on the president.... I wish you well .
The president is responsible for the hardship and hunger in the land. Tinubu was the one that removed fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy, budgeted trillions for pilgrimage, budgeted trillions for senators car and renovation of buildings. My governor is not responsible for all that and that is the major and driving force behind the hardship in Nigeria

Nnamdi, go and hold your governors accountable....

Don't you want Abia state to be a better state for you and your generation?

There's no problem here .... I want the protest to take place... But let all of us go back to the table and discuss with our governors.

How can you be using you ibotic accent to tell a Yoruba man that you're hungry in Lagos and that the Yoruba governor should do better.....

When your own governor is burning fuel around with convoys and not paying pension/salary as at when due....
Honestly, it seems that you guys don't reason properly before defending your master. Was it the governors that brought the policies that made the situation worst or your master?
Re: Four Reasons You Should Not Join The Nationwide Protest by Rukevwe999(m): 6:53pm On Jul 26, 2024
The protest is not meant to disrupt order but to bring change. The government does as it likes because they believe that we the people are afraid.

..then if the government cannot subsidize the fuel and disel for it to be reduced..then the alternative is for the refineries in Nigeria to start to work..the government should make the government refineries to work...port Harcourt refinery Tinubu said it will work in December 2023 but has not work till now.....Mele kyari in March 2024 said port Harcourt refinery will start in 2 weeks time but till now port Harcourt refinery had not started...the Dangote refinery and Dangote has issues and problems with NNPC and federal government... the other 20 private modular refineries in Nigeria said they are ready to refine and produce fuel ,disel and other petroleum products if NNPC can supply them with crude oil but NNPC and federal government are not serious about supplying them crude oil..if our refineries in Nigeria are working it will bring competition among the refineries and this will reduce the price of fuel disel and other petroleum products and also create jobs for the youths and nigerians and also appreciate the naira and make the naira to have value against the dollars which all this will make the foodstuffs goods and services reduce and come down and reduce the hunger hardship inflation nigerians are facing
God bless you am happy u understand the situation on ground so not that maybe am just supporting or backing d government though.

The wahala tie wrapper too much .

Don't forget our local refineries cannot work because Dangote too said that many of the so called elite like Tinubu, shettuma mentioned them. They all have private refineries outside Nigeria 🤔
So mean if Nigeria own should work then u have spoilt their business 😢

You can see another problem 😢😭

Problem upon problem 🤔

No valid points.....

1...once there will be leaders tagged to the protest...they will be invited to Aso rock. Is better it remains faceless, because everyone is in pepper ...

2. The protest will only be hijacked by hungry people, you might be surprised to see Army and Police men join the protest because it touched everyone

3. There is no time to give Tinubu who openly and graciously was part of the protest that removed Jonathan......why didn't he and others give Jonathan time huh

4. If Tinubu has spoken , shouted, and begged Buhari to give Nigerians good government, by now we would have pitied him, but SANE Nigerians believes he masterminded this Hunger from 2015.....lols

5. The protest should rather change Nigerians to think and reason like human beings rather than like animals in the next election so that we don't end up electing failures in Government....

6. What goes around, comes around.....the protest will be done exactly how APC did their own protest in 2014.....
God bless you for me because you are true son of the soil.

The point is....

You want a better country but you want it in a Yoruba man's land... While your own region can rot...

So that you will slap your chest to brag how you develop Lagos state...
Is ASO rock in lagos?
People in lagos think the word "National" means lagos 😆
National protest not lagos protest

Since you don't even know anything...it's really hard to engage you.

If the governors have no rule to play in a democratic country like Nigeria, then voting for such position is useless....

Also, since we are to protest since the president is in Abuja, why don't you mobilize to Abuja and leave Lagos state alone?

Go where you will be heard....

Are you sound at all?

Again, removing subsidy means that state allocations will rise up and that was to cushion the hardship.

The electricity tariff was ration based on bands..... And the people in band-A pays higher than those in the least bands....

Tinubu is the architect of the hardship in Nigeria. The state governors also had their role definitely but Tinubu is the major player. The protest will be so massive

Tell me how the governors are exempted from this?

Tinubu removed subsidy, increase electricity tariff and used the gain from the money to increase the money given to state to cushion the effect of hardship... Yet it's Tinubu that is to be blamed.

Also, constitution allowance was paid to NASS membership, but non of them brings the money home to empower the youths. But you will see Northern lawmakers buying machine and other skills equipment for the youths of some communities. Is this obtainable in the south?

But we overlook the activities of the governors and focus on the president.

That's why we're misplacing the priority of this protest.

I guess your paymaster Emilokan also misplaced the priority of protest during Jonathan government when a bag of rice was 8k and dollar to naira was less than #500?
