Life is currently very unbearable for most Nigerians now. Way forward is to immediately restore Fuel Subsidy and fight all corrupt practices associated with the FS, Scrap either Senate or House of Rep, cut down drastically on the cost of governance and eliminate financial wastages in government. Then start aggressively fighting corruption and insecurity. |

Imagine if the man mobilizing protesters in Kano market was an Igbo man and the market was Onitsha Market, by now local Yoruba Muslims would have been saying all sort of nonsense which they are known for, , but since is Hausa man is ok , yeye the smell |

The interference of western world in the Nigerian polity can never be overemphasized. People who lost elections have been trying to use the back up of UK and US to destroy the country. You are asked to devalue the Naira and increase the interest rate and also remove subsidies. The effects are loss of jobs, folding up of different businesses ( small and large. Try to find out the number of small shops that have been closed around you in recent times), frustration on the masses and the loss of interest on the nation, jakpa syndrome, etc. And to worsen the situation, the Judiciary and the legislature appear to be branches of the executive. Imagine renovating the VP's office with 50 billion Naira under the present situation, Senators receiving cars of 160 million Naira each. The Government has employed the spokespersons, cyber warriors and different individuals to defend them. Even if they succeed in stopping this very protest, the real revolution will eventually come. It is natural. When water is placed on the fire, as soon as it goes to the boiling point, it will eventually get boiled. |

In these trying times, our nation stands at a crossroads. Our collective frustration with bad governance has reached a boiling point, and the urge to protest is strong. As an elder and patriotic Nigerian, I share your concerns and your desire for change. However, I urge you to consider the consequences of national protests and to channel your energy into a more effective and peaceful means of transformation—through the power of your ballot. At the bolded, INEC and it's chairman are laughing in 3D ![]() |

Honestly, how can a president sit and watch political rascalities from his employees in Rivers and Kano ? Channeling all his energy to capturing states in preparation for the next election when the masses are dying of hunger ? |
| Re: Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Addresses Nigerians On The Proposed Protest by Difrent: 7:32am On Jul 27, 2024 |
Xscape1993:Nobody is afraid of protest What we are scared of is your tendency for violence and burning down other peoples property all in the name of protest, that we can't allow. Yaba is a transport hub for igbo transporters but it's BRT station that was burnt down with all the busses in them. Alaba, tradefair , computer village are igbo dominated markets none was burnt down but Balogun market was torched So why won't we be scared when igbos are leading another protest, we dey fear make una no come destroy our properties again |

The protest must go on. The demand has not been made to them before they start appealing to the masses. What's the appeal for when the demand has not been communicated to them for urgent implementation. See what Wike is doing in Rivers State with the help of police IG and they're still appealing to the youths to keep calm. |
