For the first time in ages, government agencies have begun to publicly advertise job openings, a process that has before now been conducted in secrecy, benefiting only those with connections. Just days before the planned protest, the government suddenly now has job openings for Nigerian youths. Imagine what we could achieve if we unite and demand an end to bad governance. Anyone who says you should not protest wants you to die in poverty while they continue to corner our collective wealth to themselves and their children. www.channelstv.com/2024/07/26/nnpc-set-to-recruit-new-staff https://nairametrics.com/2024/07/26/fg-reopens-application-for-n110-billion-nigeria-youth-investment-fund-nyif

NNPC recruits every 5 years. They did 2019 and 2014... The problem I have is the grammatical error on the site. A problem of nepotism and very embarrassing of an agency that should have the best of standards. |

Those that will be recruited have already been picked. Posting job openings online is just a camouflage niiii |

Postings online is different from employment. After employment come back and tell me the successful candidates. Don't be deceived by this, the list of the agenda for the protest has not been met , so the protest will go on |

Absolutely! What Tinubu has done in thr last 3 weeks, if he has been doing this, nobody will be talking of protest now. The protest must go on to show them not to take us for granted again shortgun: |

Lifestone:I'm sure you already know the answer to this your question. |
| Re: The Protest Is Paying Off Already by G0odharddick: 9:23pm On Jul 27, 2024 |
Lifestone:Which kind mumu question you dey ask? Oga, let tinubu open boarders for food to flow into the country to ease the high price of foodstuffs in the market today. Insecurity is now a normal thing in Nigeria. Nigeria needs to abolish bicameralism and embrace unicameralism The price of gas should be reduced to how he met it before. It was 300# per liter during GEJ era Fuel shouldn't be more than #80 per liter Let tinubu bring back fuel subsidy. It was a scam afterall Etc |
| Re: The Protest Is Paying Off Already by Lifestone(m): 2:27am On Jul 28, 2024 |
G0odharddick:Now I can see the problems. So if you were given Presidency, this how you will go about it. Open borders and kill domestic production, bring back the useless subsidy to fuel and gas and keep borrowing to fund your budget (you didn't indicate how you are going to fund the budget deficit that will follow your policies), speaks well of your poor understanding of basic Economics. I don't know where to start educating you. |

Lifestone:Since tinubu came into power, how much has he borrowed and what has he done with what he has borrowed so far? Purchasing new Presidential jets? Sharing billions among he and his cabinet? Are you normal or you're just naturally daft? Which stupid domestic production are you talking about? Your so called govt left innoson Motors and went to get #160m SUVs abroad, Are they not killing your so called stupid domestic production? Insecurity is the order of the day, people cannot go to farm and ediot like you is talking about domestic production, Are you ok? Do you want bandits to use you as suya while in the so-called domestic production? GEJ understood this and made sure the boarders was opened for food to Flow to get into the country. Ediot! During GEJ era weren't you enjoying compared to this disastrous rule you're currently in? No let me tear you dirty slap from here. |

Is the cutting of salaries and allowances fake too? I am more worried about that because it sets precedent, caused inflation and reckless spending by a few while others break their necks trying to keep up with the Joneses. |
| Re: The Protest Is Paying Off Already by Lifestone(m): 10:09pm On Jul 28, 2024 |
G0odharddick:I will spare your rudeness because that's who you are. I don't fight with the pigs. Go back to my post and read carefully with sense and come back For your information, I'm not a fan of Tinubu and didn't vote for him or Obi. Most of your rudely constructed arguments are indeed in total support of my points. So thank you for giving it more clarity. |

Lifestone:A typical Yoruba always bring reasons to run away from questions. The country was prosperous under GEJ because he knew what leadership was all about. A bag of rice was 8,200 for foreign while local was 7,200. With 10k you'll over stuck your house with food. Today with 100k you won't even see anything to buy because a bag of rice alone is #85,000 . So what nonsense are you saying? No let me tear you slap from here |
| Re: The Protest Is Paying Off Already by G0odharddick: 7:46am On Jul 29, 2024 |
Lifestone:I asked you a question Weren't you enjoying under GEJ era compared to this disastrous rule by Tinubu? Don't beat around the bush. Answer the question 🤡 |

Protest? What a joke! If anything, it's just a circus act for those looking to make noise without any real change. The same people shouting about protests are the ones who will turn around and blame the government when their lives don't magically improve overnight. Where were these so-called champions of change when things were really bad? All this noise is just an echo of desperation. It's easy to shout from the sidelines, but real change requires more than just protests. It requires unity and strategy, not just empty slogans. At the end of the day, this protest might just be another excuse for people to vent their frustrations without any real solution in sight. |
