If a lecturer fails a brilliant student because of his character in a modern society, the lecturer will definitely loose his job. Unfortunately Nigeria is a jungle where parents beat thier children to stupor all in the name of discipline when it is actually out of frustration of hunger and anger and nothing happens. There is no decorum in Nigeria and this is why a lecturer is bringing a scissors to class. Even if the school has its rules and regulations, are there no procedures regarding deterrence?
