ndidibabe:You are not in Nigeria, I see. Everyone seems to lose their moral stands once they are abroad yet they always call their home country 'backward mentality' because they wanna form woke.... Yet you have forgotten that you are also part of the 'typical Nigerian mentality', or did your blood or DNA change because you now live abroad? so you are just abusing yourself and that's low self esteem right there... So shût dafuq up, fishlips... |

luminouz:These mentality is very poor. My children , though in Europe bows to greet older people in public. They are well mannered. I really do not understand how their choice of hairstyle will affect their conduct. Most robbers and kidnappers that are paraded on channels TV rock the most decent hairstyle I have ever seen. |

ndidibabe:Our moral inclinations is not backwardness. You guys should stop demonizing Nigeria. Many Asian countries have very strong rules and morals yet not backward; why then do we refer to us as backward ![]() Many Nigerian families I know abroad still train their children not as the whites do. Many of you lots with "very forward mentality" will go to the west and keep all their rules to avoid police and deportation but you come back here and do anyhow because it is Nigeria!! Why not go to China and tell them they have backward mentality because I know many of their rules that are far more stringent than what we have here!!! If go to Rome do as Romans do and don't term them backward, or you find somewhere else!! How many young Brits and Americans kill themselves in university cult crash like they do here? Why must you dress naked or haphazard and come to the class and term Nigeria backward when corrected? We overdo everything, a Finnish, Swedish or even an American will dress decently to class and naked to party, here we dress naked to everything, even to church and claim useless rights!!! The other day, a male final year student severely beat and slapped a female lecturer in her office and many damaged people in this space were busy defending the young man, even if he killed the lecturer, many will still surface here to defend him! Try that in your so-called "forward" society with "forward mentality" and end up in jail for your lifetime because she rejected your Chapter one twice after you refused to take corrections!! Anyway I am happy he was suspended in school pending final verdict!! |

honour7:Doctors don't wear earrings or much of jewelry!!! Don't you know this, woke-forming punk? They have codes of conduct and dressing... Jesus, who dafuq are these dudes I'm replying on NL? |
| Re: Outrage As Unizik Lecturer Cuts Student’s Trendy Hairstyle With Scissors (video) by ndidibabe(f): 11:27am On Jul 28, 2024 |
luminouz:You keep using the word "woke". I guess you are just a small boy that doesn't understand life. This is part of what people protested for during "end sars". So many lawlessness in the country. I am a full blood Nigeria and will definitely return one day and this kind of news is what we are all afraid of. It goes beyond "woke", it saddens my heart. |

TerAdo:When the government starts treating you like animals because we blacks need to be strict, please don't complain. I never defended the student's actions, but there's a reason the man is the older one because he should be wiser. Telling him not to enter your class till he cuts off the hair would produce the same result without the uproar. Y'all keep acting like mini-gods in positions of small power and mistake it with being strict. This is not being strict, this is abuse of power and high-handedness. |

ndidibabe:Please shût dafuq up and check my profile. Endsars was about police brutality and how does that compare to a lecturer correcting what a student did against the school rules. Every school has dress codes so WTF you talking about? Aunty, you insulted your ancestors by saying 'typical Nigerian backward mentality ' and that's on you,not me. I just set you straight because I'm not suffering from low self esteem. Una go travel abroad and start dissing your country as if where you went to, the people are perfect. Your son should stay abroad and never come home biko. Claim abroad as your country and let us rest. |

Hussein035:Sir, I never said the student shouldn't suffer any repercussions if he's against the school codes of conduct. All I'm saying is there's no need to be barbaric about it. If his hairstyle is against the school's code of conduct, then treat it as such and punish him through the appropriate channels. He has no reason to touch the guy's hair, that's not within his job description or even within his rights. Let's stop equating being African with being barbaric and power drunk. It's crazy enough that a lecturer that's supposed to be an intellectual role model and know better is the one resorting to such means of jungle justice. Rules exist, and punishment should also be by the books. |

ndidibabe:So a surgeon is not a doctor? Which kain mûmû I dey reply sef? Yet you keep throwing the 'Nigeria' statement in our faces because you are outside the country and that makes you feel superior? Low self esteem don finish your life. N.B: How dafuq do you know I'm in Nigeria? You see fallacy of low self esteem and hasty generalisations. |

luminouz:I do not need to check your profile to understand where you are coming from. Wasn't the endsars about lawlessness. Police extortion, profiling young fine people as yahoo etc.. It is still all about human right. You need to put on your thinking cap to see it this way and you can't keep talking to people without manners to pass a message across. You are part of the problem I am talking about... |
| Re: Outrage As Unizik Lecturer Cuts Student’s Trendy Hairstyle With Scissors (video) by erad(m): 11:44am On Jul 28, 2024 |
ogaontop:Why will any sane person call him evil for doing the appropriate thing? Will it even be an issue? Should the punishment for lawlessness be more lawlessness? Then what example are you giving to the students you are supposed to be impacting with knowledge. Their lecturer that's supposed to know better is resorting to jungle justice, won't they see it as the right approach as well? Of course your lecturers acted this way, that's the reason you see it as an appropriate course of action. There's nothing right about it. |

ndidibabe:Now that I have called out your low self esteem shiit, you wanna play the reverse psychology bullcrap with me? It ain't working. I'm still calling your black ass out!!! When you said 'typical Nigerian backward mentality ' ...was that a compliment? But I responded and told you to elevate your self esteem and now I'm the bad guy... Kindly zip it. You lost this one biko Police extortion and indiscriminate killings of human beings are the main reasons behind endsars!!! A component of cultural virtue exists which was being exploited by the police but was never the main reason. People with bald hair or balding hair were extorted as much as those without. Your being emotional is gonna make you end up with bad decisions and I guess you will blame Nigeria for that too |

luminouz:Lol... Go through your tone and choice of words as well as mine and that should give you a good indication of who amongst us lacks home training. Even someone who never had parents to raise them shouldn't sound so empty and incoherent. You resort to insults because you know you have nothing sensible to offer. |
