The only issue I have is the first 3 episodes story too plenty they were compiling different characters and stories my head almost burst

I think you should watch it open mind they expect more or less just stay in the middle and stop using rotten tomatoes I prefer IMDb

The show may not be on that Spartacus level , but I like the fact that they were real in some aspects . For example , the way Kwame has escaped being killed in the arena , it is real. They didn’t just make him a hero that was favored by providence like was done to Spartacus ; rather he has survived thus far due to either his mum poisoning the drink of his opponent ( who definitely has the ability and training to kill him ) or an emotional emperor saving his asss just to spite his brother .

The cinematography and CGI are not very good.

Ok watch (if you have nothing else to watch) ? Yes.
Good watch? No.

Johnson (1920) recorded that he was burnt alive. Akintoye (2010) said he was either burnt alive or cut into pieces. Others are saying he was skinned alive. I believe of all the accounts, Johnson is probably more likely to be true since he wrote his account closer to the time the event happened.

Anyway, no one can know for sure. The producers chose to go with the earliest recorded account.
