Those about to die is a very good watch; I’m currently on episode 8.

The show may not be on that Spartacus level , but I like the fact that they were real in some aspects . For example , the way Kwame has escaped being killed in the arena , it is real. They didn’t just make him a hero that was favored by providence like was done to Spartacus ; rather he has survived thus far due to either his mum poisoning the drink of his opponent ( who definitely has the ability and training to kill him ) or an emotional emperor saving his asss just to spite his brother .

Personally would have preferred Karl Urban.

RDJ has gravitas no doubt, but what Karl Urban did in Dredd with only his mouth showing the whole movie was legendary.

Doom is going to be 99% mask so I'm not sure why RDJ is coming back to MCU in that role, when we love him for what did outside the suit as Tony Stark, less so as Iron Man

You can be definitely sure that Marvel will reduce that masks time by like 30%, they wont hide RDJ face for 99% of the movie. He's too popular for them to do that.

Theres an alternate vision of Dr Doom that merge with Iron man right? Where they swap brains in college and lived each other life? I know i read an edition like that before, just not sure if its canon enough for them to want to go that route.

Also it seems his de-sulpurization unit for the diesel product is not even functioning which is why NMDPRA says the sulphur is high, but its not dangerous cause Nigerian crude are sweet(low sulpur). Dangote's is running mainly the crude distillation unit, otherwise they will have a lot of gasoline and aviation fuel to sell. Not to talk of LPG. You can't just select to produce only one product in a Refinery. The other products are not fit for market. So Dangote is drowning in the mis-managed Refinery, and needs a monopolistic control of the market. Which the Govt. is not giving him.

so i was in a convo about dangotes refinery and the gist seems to be
1) the refinery is NOT ready
2) significant amounts of cash are required for the refinery to be full operational
3) the refinery had overruns from 300 to 500% because of a pennywise pound foolish approach to construction



Dangote needs cash to complete his refinery.
he is out of cash and overextended.
he wants to raise cash by selling product, but he cant because his refinery is not ready.
the rumours of him wanting to sell the refinery may then be true - because it will be hard for him to secure dollar loans without any government support.

no wonder he has aged overnight.

Dr Doom is the nemesis of Reed Richards. Whenever we see Dr Doom, fantastic 4 are about. So I can't see Feige introducing any version of Dr Doom that doesn't directly lead to the introduction of F4 and Silver Surfer to MCU. Silver Surfer in particular as the herald of Galactus opens up the possibility of a pivot away from Kang to a planet consuming big bad if they want to leave jonathan majors in the dust.

The only problem is that everybody knows the story of Galactus. It's been flogged to death in the F4 movies, the Cadbury breakfast TV cartoon series, the comics etc.
