JWs still preach. The Covid-19 era cessation was due to the virus. The examples of those two people you mentioned are due to their personal decisions tho.

But I think the lack of motivation in preaching as before this period is due to the fact that the record of preaching hours was discontinued by the Governing body of JWs. Before, hours stayed in preaching from house to house used to be counted, and recorded, and used as a scorecard to measure one's zealousness.

Even in my area where I used to see so many of them around, I haven't seen one single JW for many months. I saw few of them last year. This year nothing. My brother that has been following my Mum for months now to her Kingdom hall just to please her said the attendance was very low and it continued that way till today. I am very sure you follow for this. You don't go to the Kingdom hall. If you know as a JW, your Circuit Overseer visited your congregation and this is what his talk was about, just know that this problem is serious and it is Worldwide. More and more JWs are not going out to preach and they are also not attending their Kingdom halls.

Watchtower Bible and Tract Society don't care about how hungry you are or how life has become hard for you. They want you back out there in public Preaching.

The generation of apostates are five according to Jesus' illustration {Luke 16:27-28} so they're fittingly referred to as five brothers in that illustration and Satan is their father! John 8:44

Satan began bearing human children spiritually {Genesis 3:15} when he initiated Adam and Eve to join him in rebelling against their God {Genesis 3:1-6} Cain joined that generation when he refused to accept divine counsel to learn how to please God in sacred service {Genesis 4:3-7} that's what led him into that family of generations of apostates or sons of disobedience. Next is the generation of Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes and other Jewish Rabbis who stood against what they knew was found written regarding the promised Messiah (Christ) Jesus pronounced "WOE" several times on this generation {Matthew 23:13-29} telling them that the blood of Abel till that of Zachariah will be asked from that generation {Matthew 23:35} because that generation played the third brother of the rich man!

Next is the generation of apostates that sufficed right in the first century Christian congregation. These ones were members of the Christian congregation but they refused to take their leave yet claiming the Apostles and Elders are wrong in whatever they does as those taking the lead among God's people so Paul referred to them as sons of disobedience {Ephesians 5:6} while Apostle John called them Antichrists {1John 2:18} they went out from among the first century Christian congregation but they are no part of the seeds of Christ that's why they're standing against God's organization. 1John 2:19

Eyah. That's not what God said. Many will come to Almighty God and Jesus. Your Cult instead of growing, it is dying because God and Jesus have no business with it. You are also contributing to its death by not attending meetings and field service. What did I tell you JWs sometime ago? I told you your Cult is dying. Kingdom halls are being sold as we speak. JWs are leaving. There are too many inactive JWs in your midst. Low hours made your Watchtower to remove hours reporting. Low hours is a sign of death. It shows that JWs are leaving, some are not going out to preach at all and Some are not reporting at all. The hours you even report are forged because a lot of JWs lie with their hours.

I know this is hard for you to accept. You yourself are showing signs that you are tired but you don't know it. Why didn't you go for field today? It is hard to accept that your Cult Overworks you JWs. But COVID made a lot of you to realise this hence the decline.
