Government sponsored protesters against the planned protest are exercising their freedom to protest and unhindered access to public infrastructure. Tinubu is now sponsoring people to protest against protest? If the government can not stop people from protesting against the planned protest then they can not stop us from protesting against bad Governance, hardship and suffering.

....The oppressed man loves and respects only one man, his oppressor, and he has only one dream in life, which is to join the class of oppressors, in order to fulfil his own fantasies.("Pedagogy of the Oppressed"- Paulo Freire, Brazilian Author). The useless, senseless, directionless and impactless Tinubu’s government seem to be underestimating the pitiable state they have thrown this nation into. |

shortgun:How do you know they are sponsored by the government. They also have a right to protest. What alot of young folks don't understand, even throughout the election season, is that not everybody will agree on a decision. Some will go with A, while others will go with B or C. |

If this protest flops, the organizers are to blame. Why did they make it public nearly six weeks before the protest day?? |

Protesters in Abuja again? What a surprise. It's like a never-ending cycle of noise without any real change. Instead of coming together to find solutions, they prefer to just disrupt the peace. When will they learn that shouting in the streets doesn’t equate to progress? |
| Re: Pictures Of Protesters In Abuja by ConfusePoint: 1:30pm On Jul 29, 2024 |
Counter protest will only lead to confrontation and break down of law and order. Anyways, WE MUST PROTEST. |
| Re: Pictures Of Protesters In Abuja by shortgun(op): 1:32pm On Jul 29, 2024 |
raskymonojendor:Whenever you see a group not harassed or intimidated by government and security agencies you don't need a soothsayer to tell you they are sponsored by government. Wike specifically said protesters in Abuja must make payments in billions before they will be allowed to hold any protest in Eagle Square or access to public infrastructure including roads; this simply means that the government will not grant access to venue or tolerate any opposing group;the same venue where these particular protest is holding. |

I don't know, despite the current hardship In the country, some people still don't have an atom of sense. The 5k they gave these people, how many days would it last them. Honestly, we are not yet ready for change... If you have the means, just japa because I don't see any light at the end of this tunnel anytime soon. |

It’s disheartening to see these protesters in Abuja, marching for causes that seem to ignore the realities we face as a nation. It's as if they are living in a bubble, disconnected from the progress we’ve made. Instead of coming together to build a better Nigeria, they choose division and chaos. |
