No more need for protest? That sounds promising. It's time for dialogue and collaboration instead of constant unrest. Let's give the FG a chance to implement their plans.
Rest.

What of our refineries? Will the PMS and others still be imported? Nothing is said about this in any way. What is the challenges in the oil and gas sector. Why do we have to depend on imported products into the country when we can produce what can use here locally and even export some?
We all know very well that what brings about the hike and high cost of food and other things is because high cost of pertrolum products eg PMS, gas, diesel . why do we always behave as if we don't know the main cause of our problem?
God save Nigeria

YES!

The protest is political!

Peter Obi is fueling the protest to score cheap political scores and also give room to miscreants and criminals to cause havoc on businesses.
And so?

They protested against a government that has plan and removed subsidy.

Now they removed subsidy without a plan and don't want people to protest...

Black man.

So how do you keep the pressure on the government to deliver?

Most of you guys just talk as if you understand the dynamics of this country. You know nada. You ain't civil neither are you patriotic. Most of you guys are partisan lads.
Have you asked how the government plans to make 40k rice available to all Nigerians? Do the government have enough grains to go round? What concrete step have they taken in the right direction to address the concerns raised by the people except their futuristic words of promise? Please, always try to answer questions like these before you begin to write big grammars here with shallow thoughts.
Salewa97:
If the FG is saying there's no more need for protest, it means they are finally listening to the people. It's about time we see action instead of just noise.

Let’s hope they follow through with the promises made. Protests are a sign of discontent, and if they believe the issues are being addressed, then that’s a step in the right direction.

We need to give them a chance to prove that they can do better. The country deserves progress, not endless protests. Let's keep the pressure on them to deliver!

You're a very shambles entity. Just yesterday you were calling those who wanted to protest names, saying they were wrong to agitate and lack patience. Now here you are with "E be like say den don finally hear us" as if you ever associated with any agitation or protest. All you do is defend the government under the sun and in the rain. I know you're doing this for your pay check but you have no dignity or shame and your morality is non existent.

Rice for how many people, how many bags, lasting how many days, shallow thinking government. Rather than making the people beggars, implement lasting policies and see people progress economically

My brother this your last statement is mine o. The thing seriously weak me o , I thought Tinubu was a smart man o. As in see obvious solutions everywhere and he made it look like a rocket science.
flexyrule:
Look at these clowns!

You think the people who are proposing to hit the stress were doing so because of 50kg bag of rice?

Rather than address the root cause of the uprising, these clowns went about sharing bags of rice that can not sustain 1 million households for 30 days.

So every month end, Nigerians would line up to collect rice...

I used to think Jagaban was smart. Honestly, the man really really fall my hands.

Dialogue, and protest has never solve any problem across in Africa.

Maxymilliano:
Imagine how shallow the government can be.

Amongst myriad of challenges occasioned by the subsidy removal, distribution of rice to various centers and to sell at 40k is what the government can boast of
Such a statement made shouldn't be taken to heart as it is very clear base on previous one said by these politicians that words mostly speak volume than action. It's a "panic" statement employed to manipulate and douse the tension already created by the policies of the present government.
