Nairaland doctors and medical practioners, my colleague and friend is sick and has been absent from work for almost two weeks now.

What will make someone's body to just swell up like that?
His testes and scrotum are also swollen. His face is swollen. The picture here was taken when the swell on his face had already subsided, it was worse than seen here. He can't walk properly. I just took him to the hospital now and we are back. But before today, he had being to a particular hospital. He said he wasn't getting proper attention there, so he had to go to another hospital which is a general hospital. They have done all tests but they haven't found anything. It's really strange and mysterious. We really need your inputs here.

His blood pressure was also checked today, and it is very low.

He should go to a Teaching Hospital or Any FMC closest to him.. so they can refer him to a proper consultant.

Most General Hospitals or Private Hospital do not have the capacity to handle this kind of serious stuff..

Akpukanti: eat raw corn in your mouth and pour it on his cheeks through your mouth and massage it… then go test for Varicocele, they will check it through his scrotum on scan

Better go for diabetes test/treatment before it result to kidney failure.

But since you said the tests says nothing is wrong, seek spiritual help.

Usually kidney related issue.
Has he done a kidney function and structure test(blood and scan)?Should also do a heart and liver function tests.
I am surprised he said he has done many tests and nothing was found.If that is true,including a kidney test,then the only other explanation would be that he was suffering from an allergic reaction.
