These people seem to be bent on their own downfall. You are allowed to protest but you want to be rallying round the city so you can loot again. I pity what will befall them. If anyone tries nonsense with people's properties this time, Lagos will rise against such.
We say no to protest of destruction
who care about your Lagos mtchsssew. Did nigeria started and ended at Lagos? The protests will go all over the country and when your thugs shoot at protesters then we will demand the resignation of this failure regime but if you doubt try and see

These nincompoops have yet to realize that the fact that the protest could be hijacked by unscrupulous elements is all the more reason why people need to go out to protest the incompetence and ineptitude of the government in arresting the security situation in the country. undecided

How can a whole IGP of Police come out bold-faced to tell people not to protest for fear that criminal elements could take advance of the opportunity? Isn't that clear proof that you, as an IGP, have failed in your responsibilities? Why is the Police trying to push what is his responsibility on the people looking to freely exercise their right to protest? undecided
In your wider imagination tell me one protest in the whole of Africa that ended well, someone is telling you to fear the aftermath of the protest you are here ranting. Orun un yabo ki SE Oro enikan. Sit at home in the east you have not finding solutions to it you want to spread it across all other region, if you don't have life other have, if you do any how, you will collect any how.

Just making noise up and down as if there is sense in what he was saying. Confined location doesn't means there is no protest. " Failed in his responsibility as if you too are not fail from your responsibility for not think wisely!! I hope you know the meaning of security responsibility and what it takes to restore peace when there is violence protest . I hope you know what happened in Lekki during end SARS protest was the process of restoring peace by security then? OGA your talk resemble that of kid.

However, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, one of the lawyers for the Take It Back Movement, one of the groups organising the nationwide protest, rejected the IGP’s proposal.

Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa one of the organizers and yet miscreants we have online keep calling out their nightmares (Igbos)

Online warriors do not know why their pay masters are afraid. They foolishly believe the alternative (use of force) should be the government's best resort. Their slow brains cannot decode that would lead to the escalation that could swallow Nigeria. They seem not to be able to see beyond 'Lagos' for a protest that would be happening in 36 states. The tipping point could be something that will happen far away in one remote village up north. The government know what it is afraid of about this protest, but urchins don't.

They want to loot and destroy infrastructure. That's why they don't want to limit their movement to a particular section.

The protest will likely be disrupted in Lagos by thugs threatening the protest and this will turn a peaceful protest chaotic/violent.
The police should watch out for this disgruntled elements.

lol. The protest will be contained and there is nothing the insurrectionists can do about it. If they have no evil intentions, why are they against contained protest? They want to block major roads, Airports, and burn buildings like they did during Endsars? Na, we ain’t gonna allow you this time around.

Yorubaman & im thinking! So what is the job of the police if the protest is to be hijacked? In 2012, the protest wasn't hijacked, but now it will! Hypocrites everywhere! For saying such only shows the IGP need sack. If there are no enough officer to mann the streets, those attached politicians should be withdrawn temporarily including those blocking Rivers State LGA secretariats
You know, the protesters are the only one buying things at an exorbitant price na...

The whole thing has failed already.
Where in the world is a protest of this kind scheduled with date, time and venue like a birthday party?

The tribalism in Nigeria will never allow it to work. Most Yorubas are doing whatever possible to make sure it didn't work because the president is their tribes man. For this reason, the country will never move forward, splitting the land is the only remedy.

Can you tell me one thing in Nigeria that is going on well? From security to education, to health care, to power(electricity) supply, economy, to agriculture, youth employment/ job creation and infrastructure etc? Just name two sectors functioning properly in Nigeria.
Someone rightly asked above "if the country hasn't been hijacked?

Not rallying around up and down, blocking roads and disturbing other Nigerians means they won't be able to loot and destroy public assets.

They must confine their activities to specific locations.
